Cozy place. I had a caramel macchiato. The espresso was strong, but it didn't overpower the entire drink. It was full of flavor, not too sweet with a creamy, frothy finish. Beautifully done! It was quite crowded and I had to wait a bit (good sign right) but it was well worth the wait. I wil definitely return!😊

Love this place. I live less than half a mile away, and it's my go-to place to get work done.

Love the cozy atmosphere, good lighting, and local feel. I'm a big proponent of supporting local businesess rather than chain franchises, so I gladly give my coffee money to Third Gen rather than the Starbucks down the road.

Also, in the same shopping center, a couple doors down, there's an independent bookstore called Buy the Book. One of my favorite "day off" activities is to go the bookstore, find a new book, and then walk over to Third Gen, get a coffee and a blueberry muffin and read.

They got the best Chai Tea latte with Almond Milk. #vegan#dairyfreealternatives#chailatte#Almondmilk#coffeelovers#cappuccino

As a coffee enthusiast, this shop really appealed to me. The beans are locally roasted, fresh, and well brewed. This resulted in espresso that was bright and full bodied. Plus, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Third Gen Coffee is the only coffee shop I would recommend visiting in or near The Woodlands.

I hate to give this place a one star but unfortunately the coffee here is terrible. Its actually worse than Starbucks and it's overpriced for what it is.

I originally wanted a Soy Latte but they didn't have soy milk (only almond or oat - both I detest with a passion) so I changed it up to a Americano. While waiting I noticed they used the HEB brand of oat milk yet they charged .90 cent for it ... If you are going to charge .90 cent for alternative milk you might as well get the better brand milk. I've never been charged this much for alternative milk and I normally get the better brand. Also the barista left the milk out for quite some time. When I left it was still sitting on the counter not being used so I hope it was empty one she didn't bother to throw away.

As for my Americano - it tasted stale and bitter (I think the espresso was old). It was really was a waste of money. I'm not even a Starbucks fan but I rather go there to come to this coffee shop again.

Edit: no matter how I tried to fix the Americano I ended up throwing it away.

The cinnamon roll latte was good. I could taste the vanilla and the cinnamon. The latte was delivered hot, fresh, and quickly.

The staff was friendly and helpful, too. I shared what I usually like to drink and they recommended the cinnamon roll latte, which turned out to be a great recommendation.

If I am back in the city and area again, I will revisit.
