Third Gen Coffee

The coffee is fantastic. This was my first time trying Third Gen, and I look forward to visiting again. There is great cozy sitting upstairs for sipping, visiting, and/or reading if you were smart enough to hit the neighboring store, Buy the Book, beforehand.

Definitely skip the Starbucks down the road, the coffee is way better and quicker service. Love the loft area seating and overall location.

A time limit should be imposed on people sitting and looking at their laptops like their in their living rooms. When I come in to eat and drink coffee there's no where to sit. Re arrange tables and add smaller tables.

What a great little coffee shop hidden away on Grogans & Sawdust! This is my usual go to coffee shop daily & it absolutely brightens my day! First off, it's really well done inside. With the space they have, they spread it out nice to create a relaxing environment so customers have the ability to chat or work peacefully. The decor & lights on the back walls blend it together. Secondly, the drinks are delicious! I love the Cinnamon Roll Latte but lately been trying the different Fraps they have to offer. However, nothing like a cold brew to cool you off during these warm Texas mornings! Finally, the staff is great. They're always bubbly & excited to welcome you in. With the bonuses of food items & home brew options available, it's a great place to stay in or take out. Cheers Third Gen!

A great little coffee shop with area to hang out. The staff was extremely nice, and doing a great job pumping out orders and keeping the line moving.

Dope coffee, specially the Burundi bean they use in pour over, you can also try great lattes and some special drinks like golden spice latte or cinnamon roll latte.

Atmosphere is friendly & aesthetically pleasing. Lots of natural lighting and the plants they have displayed are lovely. My husband & I actually really enjoy the food they offer. The sausage rolls are 10/10 & a local favorite. Get there EARLY on the weekend if you want one & the mustard is a must. Blueberry danish is also amazing. As far as coffee goes- I wish this place was more consistent. It’s only good depending on which barista made it & consistency is key for me. I will say I’ve worked in coffee in and out for years so I may be picker than most. Overall it’s a good little place.

Love this place, great spot to grab a coffee and chill either outside under the trees or upstairs. I'm in love with the Lavendar Latte and endulge on the blueberry danish when I need a sweet treat.

Staff is extremely friendly, plenty of space to get some work done, everything is fairly priced, and the matcha has a good flavor.

Nice clean space, cold AC and hot coffee! The staff were friendly and had a recommendation ready for me when I told them I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try something new. Ended up grabbing a hat on my way out and am happy to tell people about Third Gen as I continue my travels!
