The coffee and tea were delicious. Everything is crafted so thoughtfully. I loved watching my loose leaf tea heat up on the countertop 🍵 The lighting is great, the music is pleasant and current, and vibes are lively. We will definitely be going back to try more items from their menu! Maybe their food next time!

The cafe is very cute and cozy and has a nice dog-friendly seating area outside, right by the river walk. The coffee was very good and they have vegan and gluten-free donuts from DoNot Resist donuts, which were really good. I loved sitting outside here and the staff was friendly. Only downside is the açaà bowl was pretty bad and too warm. For $15, which is quite pricey for an açaà bowl, I was expecting more.
It’s also served in a single-use plastic container even if you’re eating there, which seems quite wasteful. I hope they switch to more sustainable alternatives.

Cute, upscale place for coffee. Very nice staff and a breakfast selection beyond only baked goods - breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Parking can be a thing but a cute area to walk around.

Walking the dog on the waterway and felt like a coffee. Flat white was what I was looking for. Their offering was an excellent mid morning cup; full flavor but not a heavy body. Sparked me up for another lap with the pooch. They are a little small to be dog friendly, but it would be great if they had a hitching post and water bowl out front for the canine crowd.

We love Blue Door! Every time we are in The Woodlands, we make a point to visit. They have great coffee, pastries, and a first-class staff. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed too!

Stopped in for a quick bite before heading to the airport. The service was friendly and my order came out quick. It was fresh and delicious!

This place is one of the best!!! We look forward to their coffee every time we come visit my parents in The Woodlands! They have very friendly customer service and often go above and beyond! We love their house made syrups for their lattes. The only thing that is problematic is parking and seating. It's hard to find parking and usually there's few (if any) available seats..... maybe that's a testament to their great coffee.

I visited this location today for a business meeting and I did not have the experience that I had hoped for.
The group that I was with were already seated by the time I arrived and we’re enjoying their coffee and pastries.
I walked up to the register and was standing there for a few minutes and nothing was said by either employee. however, a person walks through the door they are greeted and helped quickly as I am still standing there..
One person was waiting on his drink or whatever he had ordered. He came back up to the register and the employee had a conversation with him and he left. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting.
I turned and walked away and went back to the table, where I was sitting, never ordered anything due to the fact that I wasn’t even asked if I wanted to order anything. The person at the register saw me standing there, and clearly made a conscious decision not to say anything.
I scheduled the business meeting here and was hoping for a better experience. This is a beautiful establishment, but the customer service was less than perfect today.

Let's start with: 4:29pm on Sunday 4/16/23, and the cleaning supplies were already out in the open on the counter...
...as we walked in, and the MOMENT I grabbed the menu, I'm "greeted" with a rude statement (snapped directly at me): "The kitchen is closed!" ... (as opposed to "Hello, Welcome in", etc.)
We are aware of the closing times for this location on a Sunday (5pm) and were simply looking for the DRINKS available on the menu, as my wife and I had zero intention to eat at this time of day; that's besides the point since we weren't even greeted or asked, "What can I get you today?" and/or "...and we apologize ahead of time, if you intend to order food, our kitchen is already closed", etc. ...had that been conveyed to us, I wouldn't be writing this review, jsyk.
In terms of the drinks; my wife ordered the cappuccino (w/simple syrup & oak milk); however, it was OVERLY piping hot along w/the steamed milk. The espresso shot (ordered on the side for tasting & testing) was lackluster, as the beans were burnt and overly SOUR (not fruity). As coffee connoisseurs that we are, temperature was off, and flavor of the oakmilk was shot right out with this excessive heat.
The high note of the visit (thank goodness) was my Matcha Latte w/strong & full-flavored Matcha powder; albeit, my normal alt milk of choice (soy) was not available here.
For context, my wife & I visit tons of independent coffee shops WEEKLY for the past 6+ years, big & small, in Houston Metro (as well as DFW) area. We're a 4+ coffee-serving daily household, as well as roasting our own beans at home.
BLUE DOOR COFFEE in The Woodlands WILL NOT BE OUR REGULAR GO-TO moving forward. Not only due its tastes ...but also due to poor staff behavior.
(I do want to recognize one other employee that greeted us "Have a nice day" on the way out. We DID appreciate it.)
