THIS REVIEW IS CUSTOMER SERVICE RELATED ONLY.
My family and I were excited to try this place as it was very highly rated. We arrived approximately 40 minutes before closing time. The place was about half full. We deliberated for about 10 minutes on our order making eye contact with the man working behind the counter many times (and another employee). When we had decided our order, we stepped up and were told very matter of factly “kitchen is down, we’re closed”. It was NOT closing time and he offered no other options either. He didn’t apologize, no smile, just very cold and inconsiderate.
We exited very disappointed and frustrated that we didn’t get to try out anything at this highly reviewed cafe but even more disappointed in the lack of quality customer service.

Coffee is always delicious, and the baked goods are wonderful. Staff is also extremely friendly, and the whole atmosphere is lovely if you are looking for a place to hang out or get some work done.

I love that The Woodlands is getting more unique coffee places! I think Blue Door has a great selection of coffee at a reasonable price compared to Starbucks; the flavor of coffee alone is something to brag about. However, parking is major problem. If you have time to find parking and have studying, work, or just down-time, it's no problem. However, to have to find parking 600m away and have to walk across the street and then order your coffee is not conducive to a grab-and-go lifestyle. It would be much easier to have some parallel spots or even 10 minute parking outside the door for those on the run. On more than one occasion I have tried to come on the weekend but I would have had to pay $5 for parking, then an additional for whatever food/drink I would have chosen. I tried to park around the corner with parallel parking but they were all taken. It just was not worth my time to pay $5 for parking for something that would take 3 minutes. I hope a solution to this happens soon as I would like to visit more.

Amazing location in the Woodlands, expect Starbucks prices. A wonderful variety of healthy sandwiches, salads, and such. Even mini baked pies 😍 they have specialty and daily special brews along with a main coffee board consisting of your basics: latte, cappuccino, cold brew, pour over, macchiato. A laid back and Cafe style environment. Rustic and country, but country chic. Cannot wait to go back! Staff is friendly and all food is prepared fresh and the chef personally delivers.

Great coffee! Great banana bread (“Nana’s”), but order it warmed up. Great and very friendly personnel! Fast wifi even at busy lunch time. They should probably rename it into “Blue Door to Coffee Heaven” :-)
Valet parking right in front (for $7), I haven’t noticed him and used garage parking five minutes walk for $6. Don’t repeat my mistake. Go get coffee while the guy takes care of your car.

The atmosphere's nice, the staff is friendly, there's plenty of seating, and the coffee is tasty. Oh, and the doors are indeed blue.
I feel like I should reiterate the "coffee is tasty" part. I write in coffee shops often, and sometimes it feels like you have to suffer through the coffee so you can enjoy the shop. Not so here. I've had a lot of cappiccinos at a lot of places, and this one ranked pretty high on that list.
Anyways, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I walked in around 1:30 and it wasn't too crowded, and that was on a Saturday. Two thumbs up.

I really loved this place and enjoyed their coffee until yesterday. First of all, the quality of coffee became very average. It seems like they have new team of baristas (all girls) who is still learning. Second, the prices went up. In pretty significant and not reasonable way. And finally, they allow people to make kind of table self-reservations. We couldn’t find place to seat with our meal and took the empty table with someone’s laptop on it (table for 4!). This table was not occupied for 20 minutes but after we started our meal the lady showed up and told it’s her (!!!) table. We continue to eat however in 10 minutes her friend appeared and they started to push us out. Such a ridiculous situation. And no reaction from shop stuff. Such a bad feeling after visiting!

Update- I appreciated the reply from the owner, so I decided to check out other reviews and replies. There seems to be a nice reply for most reviews no matter the amount of stars, except for Santos Gonzalez's review. If you are going to reply and even offer to make it right, etc. do it for everyone.
12 oz mocha was over $6. If I'm going to pay that much for a drink, it should be perfect. It wasn't. The mocha wasn't hot enough, and had very little flavor. If the customers are going to pay high end prices for the location, make the drinks worth it.

Another GREAT coffee shop to have in The Woodlands! The location is great, parking is a LITTLE inconvenient but I have never had an issue parking for the Water Way. Coffee is all very good, atmosphere and decor are very inviting. I haven’t had much of the food but everything looks and smells spectacular. Staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to check this place out!
