Mabank Cafe

They were out of French fries which seems like a ridiculous oversight. Told the waitress (who was very nice) that we needed some more time to decide what we wanted now that we found out there were no fries and she never came back. Paid for our drinks and left. Won't be back.

Large crowd due to live music. Only 2 waitresses. Our Food sat on the counter after 2 other tables orders were taken after ours and were served ahead of us. Waitress came and asked if we had received our food. Clearly with salad plates only on the table, we had not. Food upon arrival was cold. Catfish and baked potato are not good cold. Then we requested condiments for fish and potato which prolonged our wait and increased the cold of the meal. If you know you are having live entertainment and even have tables reserved for large groups, I would think you would be prepared. Unsweet tea ran out. No cocktail sauce. 2 waitresses only to serve 60 people. Not acceptable. Not our best experience here.

Awesome place to eat at and the coffee is awesome too. Very nice people that own the restaurant. People need to be more patient when they are short staffed.

Always great food and great service. It feels like home there.

Everything about this place is what you would want in a cafe. Very attentive, friendly service and delicious food at a great price!!! I only wish I lived closer because I would come here all the time!

Loved the fried catfish!! The best I have ever had and I am very picky when it comes to catfish. Everything was great and our waitress was so pleasant and had good customer service skills.

The service was great. Fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean The food was mediocre. If I was hungry and close by, I'd eat there again.

Terrible service and mediocre food. Waitress forgot to bring English muffin with breakfast meal, we nicely asked a different waitress if she could bring us our English muffin or ask our waitress to she smiled and said sure no problem then she went back to bussing a table and chatting with her other waitress friend. With no intention of getting our English muffin. Then we went back to the kitchen and asked our waitress to get it she said no problem, but the English muffin never appeared. We went to the cashier and all she said was oh sorry hope your day gets better. Will never recommend will never be back! Apparently they treat Outsiders different than their own kind.

Food took a while to get to the table and when it did it was very cold we didn't bother the waitress because she seemed like she was very busy still gave her a good tip because I know that that's what they live off of but I would not go there again
