Really great food! Our server was very nice and checked on us s few times to make sure everything was ok. Looking forward to going back.

I have only had terrible experiences at this restaurant, the staff is rude, the food is cool and flavorless. I've tried to like it a few times but every time I am just disappointed by every aspect.

I love the owners. They are nice people who help our small community. Also there food is wonderful and the wait staff is amazing.

Great chicken fried steak and the catfish is always perfectly fried! Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Salad Bar needs a definite facelift and a little more personal attention as far as refills and being wiped down.

Service excellent! Food arrived hot and prepared as requested.
I will definitely return for the steak and eggs.

Breakfast was great. Love this place. Waitress was great. Loretta, owner, comes by with hugs for both of us. Asks about family, etc. People are so friendly all around. Good down home place. Will go back soon.

Great food. Friendly staff. Fast service. Fair price. Only complaint is small salad plate for one trip...you can't get anything on them. I love salad, so I would rather eat at Bean and Burger's restaurant for salad.

The prices are reasonable, food was delicious and they give large portions. Our waitress was extremely friendly. One star off because google hasn't been updated and I showed up at 6 am. They open at 7 am.

Price is decent: got the pick 3 for 3.99. Sausage patty was a little bland but bacon and other items were good. The only problem was that it came out cold. Willing to give them a 2nd chance in a year or 2.

After reading the good reviews, we decided to give this place a shot. They even had signs within boasting their 2017 readers choice award for best home cooking. We felt pretty confident that this was going to be an enjoyable meal.

This was so not the case. First, I want to start by saying that the service was excellent. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Aside from that though, the rest of our experience was awful. The wait for our food took at least 45 minutes and they were not busy. The waitress was polite in telling us our food would be out in just a few more minutes at least 3 separate times. When our food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best.

We ordered a catfish basket, steak finger basket, chicken tender special, a breakfast plate with bacon, eggs, and sausage, and a chocolate Belgian waffle breakfast plate.

The fish was really pretty good, however the hush puppies were inedible. They were bland, tough little pieces of fried dough. The fries were even worse. Absolutely soggy and such a weird texture. The coleslaw was decent.

The steak fingers were decent but again, the fries were in a sad state.

The chicken tenders were the worst I've ever seen. They were soggy and not even close to a crisp. The breading fell off, leaving you with a disturbing looking chunk of chicken. The salad bar that came with the meal was OK, nothing special there. We ordered cabbage and fried green beans for the sides and both were below average.

Both of the breakfast meals were OK.

Sadly, my review will not reflect the others. This was not at all an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was friendly and the service was great but we can't return to a place where you end up leaving with most of the food still on the plate.
