Mabank Cafe

NOT RECOMMENDED: We just took our family to breakfast here and it was the WORST experience we have ever had!!! They microwaved our food and when I asked about it the manager gave excuses and told me I was the first one to ever complain. No apology, no we will fix it, just excuses. Seriously?!?! Good luck keeping customers.

This cafe has some of the best small town ambiance. Friendly, sweet, know most folks that walk thru the door by first names. I recommend everyone stop at least once and enjoying the down homeyness of the Mabank Cafe. From the all you can eat buffet to getting "The Blue Plate" special.

Great food, great service and reasonable prices. They close early at 2pm so if you want to try them dinner is not an optione. Restaurant is decorated in the mighty Panthers theme. Very cute.

We go here for breakfast sometimes. Its always good.
They have the best biscuits & gravy. The weekend breakfast buffet is awesome.
I see the owners around town all the time. They are good people.

Love the food and the people! Loretta and her husband always make everyone feel like family!!! If you haven't been here then you are are REALLY missing out on great food and great people!!!!

Typical ,normal ,medioker but its the best little breakfast place in Athens Tx. This really is saying much because the competition is weak. The service was friendly and the coffee was hot.

Small town restaurant that is very friendly. Wait staff stays on top of taking care of the customer. Food is fresh and cooked to order. The breakfast buffet is so plentiful, fresh and hot!

This is a very nice cafe! The food and atmosphere was great. I need to get by there more often for sure…
