Overall a great experience most of the time however our most recent visit was pretty bad. Our whole order was never put into the kitchen, it admittedly throwing away by our waitress Bianca. We had to reorder after waiting 20 to 25 mins, it literally pushed our entire day back as we were on a timeline of errands for the day. Our drinks were never refilled. The food was excellent as it normally is. It might have just been a bad day for the waitress but it did affect us as well. Normally this restaurant I put it five stars this time was a three. They did some walk around caroling as it's holiday time which was nice and got the whole restaurant involved good touch of the holidays!

The Wellness Spa-Dr. Vazquez recommended the place so we had to try. You won our hearts and stomachs!! Thank you Ana for such amazing service! God knows you’re using the talents He gave you to serve the masses. Praying for you blessings for overflow.

My morning trek to the Red Oak Cafe - League City was worth it. They serve coffee roasted by Katz - one of my local favorites. I can only rate the coffee, but folks were enjoying breakfast while I sipped on my brew! ☕️

Cute little restaurant in a strip mall. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Food was delicious. Portions were huge. Would definitely return any time I am in the area

July 2021– I have been to the league city location of Red Oak, 4 times now. I’ve never had a bad experience. The quiches are good. I wish they had a vegetarian quiche available all the time though. I always get the veggie paninis. They are delicious. Mine have been changed a bit to my liking in case yours don’t match my picture. The waffle is delicious. The hash browns could have a bit more flavor and crunch but they are still good enough. They do not have any plant based milks which is odd; people do have lactose intolerance. You could make a few options vegan by cutting the dairy but nothing specifically for vegans. The strawberry lemonade it yummy. The servers are always nice.

My family and I go here often for breakfast. No more I am afraid. The food is great but the service has steadily gone down hill. We waited 40 minutes from the time we sat down .. with a toddler that does not work well! The server passed us several times dealing with to go orders. She never checked on us once. I finally had to get another server to get our food to go. That is the only way I would eat here again. Explains the multiple to go orders.

Food was good and tasted like a good home cooked meal. Great service from the waiter, extremely nice Hispanic lady. Thankful we had her serving us. Definitely an environment that might show favoritism towards certain people, so even if you’re seated first and just sit there and wait for service.. others may come in after you and get service before you based on what they look like. A waiter was sent over after they noticed we saw what was going on, our disgust was that obvious. She was sent to put the fire out I suppose. Glad I read the lowest reviews because I saw others have had the same experience in the past. Probably just what comes with being in this area, next time we’re leaving Galveston we definitely won’t be stopping here again but cool to know what it’s like I guess. 🤷🏾♀️

Food was great, service could have been better and overall the restaurant was very loud. It was hard to carry a conversation with so much commotion. I had the quiche, hash browns and French toast. My friend customized some pancakes with her traditional breakfast. We were both pleased with the meal. We were too busy eating so we didn't muss conversation too much. But we both agreed it was loud.

Red Oak is a Christian owned restaurant, which I love. It is almost always full, but the staff is great about turning tables. The ambiance is great, but a little loud, because everyone is having a good time and chatting it up. Breakfast there is awesome! Lunch is good too though. Good place to meet friends and catch up.

Visited this place for the first time today, food was good as was the coffee, however the experience with the hostess was a bit weird. I had told her I need a table for 6 when she look at me like I was asking for her SS# then looked around to see no 2 tables open next to each other along the walls and looked confused. So I asked her to just put 2 tables together in the middle and as she did that she combined a large table and a small table half the size together. When I asked her to combine 2 of same size tables I was told they are for different servers for them and couldn’t do that. Not a bad experience just a very odd one. She easily could have given me 2 of the same tables and move the odd ball one over for someone else.
