Friendly waitress fast service big plates,highly recommended.

Had the chicken and dumplings. Soooo delicious. Hubby had the big breakfast and loved everything. Fresh food in a great atmophere with stellar service.

The place is a homey little kitchen. But has outgrown it's small town charm. Much like Friendswood, the origin of inspiration for the location, its matured beyond its initial design. Not in a good way. The coffee was just hot water. The food was great when viewed from each individual element. However it lacked the collaboration necessary to elevate a dish beyond a country club cafeteria. The staff are innocent victims to this sinking ship. We really enjoyed our interactions with them.

The food here was amazing and our waitress was wonderfully attentive! I ordered the Texas Hash and did not regret it. The hash was spicy and the biscuit so fluffy. The rest of the staff was odd. One server squeezed between chairs bumping my date and apologizing at least 5 times. There were plenty of better places to cross. Another server came and took our ketchup less than a minute after we got it without saying a word and gave it to another table. Also, I would recommend they get purse hooks for the tables because the only place to put it is the floor or your lap with the small squished tables. Overall, I enjoyed the brunch enough to return. I wanted to give 5 stars but the other servers were so odd.

The food was great! Very large portions too. Service was excellent as well! I’d definitely recommend coming here for brunch if you’re able.

I have a toddler and ordered an over medium egg, talked it over with the waitress, who was nice, how any uncooked egg is bad for anyone.
My toddlers eggs came out runny as hell. Who can't cook eggs, seriously? Who can't see the egg as undercooked either?

Red Oak has a friendly welcoming feel. The food was good, but not outstanding. I was looking forward to the biscuits and gravy, but it was a let down in the fact there was not enough gravy to go with the biscuits. It could be considered a positive because I didn't eat the whole biscuit because it was a tad dry without the gravy.
Red Oak is worth a visit, just set reasonable expectations.

Me and my spouse come here on Sunday mornings, so of course it's pretty busy, i believe you can reserve your spot online so you wont have to wait as long once you arrive. No matter how busy it is, we are always greeted kindly upon entering, and the waitstaff are always polite and provide great service every time.

I warn you all that this place will become a regular pilgrimage destination. I had heard from friends that their breakfast, pancakes, and coffee were great. Still, I had resisted.

The staff working at the League City location is super professional and very personable. Didn’t seem like they were faking being nice and I loved the recommendations made by our waitress (I believe it was Shelby).

I ordered the Texas Hash Breakfast and blueberry / brown sugar pancakes. Very large portions!!! I gladly took half of my meal back home. Absolutely delicious and worthy of another visit sometime soon!!! This was my 1st time here. I have not tried their lunch.

Warning: Extremely busy. I can’t recommend enough that you go to their website and put yourself down on their “wait list”. It will give you an approximate time on when your seat is expected to open up. If you choose to wing it and just show up, you might find yourself waiting 30-45 minutes.

Came here solely based off of Google reviews while a friend was in town. Gorgeous ambiance for a nice brunch, excellent pecan coffee (try it black!), and serving sizes were generous for the price. Food was delicious and our server was very sweet. I'll be back!
