I love red oak cafe!! The staff is Soo friendly, and sweet. The wait times are a little longer than usual restaurants, but the food and service makes up for it! I will definitely be coming back more and more often!

We were seated at our table quickly and the server returned with our drinks right away. The menu is short on choices and does not address the wants and likes of small town people who want their usual down home breakfast. The regulars were greeted and seated very quickly. They did not wat for drink refills and were included in the conversations of the workers, while we were almost finished with our meals before we were offered drink refills. I will say that the orders were prepared and served with care and speed. When in the area, we will not return.

We found this little gem by accident and we are so glad we did. This is a faith based restaurant and the food and atmosphere were amazing. Our waitress Cassie was phenomenal. This is a definite must try restaurant...I promise you will be glad you did š„š³. My husband said " try the jalapeno cheddar grits".

Food is Delicious. Full in the mornings, you have to show up after lunch or BF during the week when the rush is not bad. Service is awesome and COVID safe. They sell this coffee call Cafe De Olla!! I canāt get enough had to buy me a bag of coffee.

We have been coming to Red Oak for a few years. The food is typically dynamite. Today not so muhc. I ordered a grilled cheese and soup. Cheese only covered the top half of the sandwich, (I cut in 4ths and only two pieces had cheese) Cheese wasn't melted and the sandwich was cold. Unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to pass this along as our server never came back to ask how our food was. A food runner brough our food , missing pancakes. 5 minutes later we went to find someone to say we need our pancakes, ketchup , more water and coffee. Of course they were busy, not on a wait, but this was utterly terrible. The breakfast was ok (not the usual temp but always a good value for the big breakfast) Things for sure have changed in the wrong way at this lovely little spot, such that we might take it out of our rotation for a while.

Food is superb. High quality ingredients that are prepared in such a tasty way! I love the smell of their pecan coffee, the tortillas on their quesadilla, the jalapeƱo cheddar grits. Leaving with a smile on my face :)

Very friendly, comfy setting for Breakfast. Had the most helpful waitress , hate I forgot her name. She was amazing. If you aren't hungry don't order pancakes. No way a normal human can eat them all. Food was very good but the spot itself maybe better. Felt like home

Busy place but food is good. Pancakes and mix-ins are very good, Texas hash was great and the Hot Mess Bowl is exactly that, plenty to eat, all tasty. I really wanted to try their French Toast but shied away from it when I saw the dish, the French toast could be upgraded to a better (bigger/thicker) bread.
