Red Oak Cafe - League City

Nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. Short wait to be seated on a Saturday afternoon. Breakfast served all day with a slightly different lunch menu than the weekdays. Our server, Rachel, was extremely knowledgable of all the food options and what they contained. She made sure our drinks were kept full and that we were happy with everything, even with a full restaurant. Coffee was delicious. Food was great! I ordered the big breakfast and was perfect. My wife ordered the Baked Potato soup and was very happy with it. Only complaint from our table what that the frito pie was a bit dry, the frito content was perhaps a little too high. Loved the sticky notes in the bathroom, it was a nice touch. An extra bathroom would be good as the single one had a bit of a line the entire time we were there. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for breakfast food!

I had the avocado toast with fried egg and a side of fruit. Delicious! The fruit was fresh and delicious! The avocado had a great flavor. I also had the cafe de olla! Wow! Tasted great black and I usually put creamer in my coffee. Yummy coffee for sure! I must go back, the other ladies I went with had waffles, french toast and pancakes with bacon and hash and all looks so tasty!

Great food, staff is always nice and food comes out in a timely fashion. Will return again, come early for breakfast because there’s a wait if you come too late on a weekend.

I have been craving waffles for months now, and I finally decided to give in and just find a great waffle somewhere near by. I checked Yelp reviews and found this place. Service was friendly, the prices were just right, the waffles were amazing and exactly what I wanted, and everything else we tried was solid (bacon, ham and swiss panini, hashbrowns (add Cholula and go to heaven), and the black currant iced tea). We will be back soon. :)

Wow is all I can say. This place was way beyond our expectations. Try the bacon brown sugar pancakes!!! They melt in your mouth. Our waitress was great as well.

Loved the ability to check in online and have a table by the time we got across town. Mexican coffee was unique and good. Loved our breakfast before sightseeing for the day.

Have breakfast here every Sat/Sun and it's always good. So many choices that it always takes me forever to decide what to order. Today was the perfect day for the Peanut Butter & Banana crunchy Panini. I had mine on a Keto bagel. Yes, they have great Keto options!
Our weekend isn't complete till we've sat down and chatted with Vanessa the manager. Shes downright wonderful.. 😊
Sometimes the owner Bob pops in while we are there and we get to catch up with him.
All the employees are great. Have to admit our favorite is Christy. She's a hoot and my day wouldn't be complete without her humor.
We always have a great experience but I did have to jokingly complain when they got taller tea glasses but not taller straws. A couple weeks later they had taller straws. Yay! They really do listen to their customers. Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't like sticking their head into the glass to drink but if you feel the same way just ask for a Steph straw. 😁
Thank you Red Oak Cafe for being there through the crazy pandemic. You guys are like a life line.

Great place for breakfast. They stop serving breakfast at 11 AM, we got there just in time. It was not busy for a Tuesday. I can see this spot as a place to eat and study, because of the laid back atmosphere. Good vibe. Nick our server was quick and made great suggestions for us because we were new here, friendly guy too. We will be back for sure. Food portions were larger then Ihop but about the same price.

Our first visit- delicious. I got the Texas Hash, basically meat and potatoes w/out eggs, but seasoned perfectly. 🤩 Oh yes, the pancakes are so good and big and fluffy.
The service was great and the staff super friendly and the RR was excellent. All thumbs up for us.
