The Cracked Mug Coffee House

We visit San Antonio pretty regularly for vacation or trips to Six Flags, so I've been slowly trying to find the perfect place to get coffee. This is it! If you are near the tourist side of town (Six Flags, SeaWorld, etc.) This is AMAZING! They had a themed week of beverages, and we tried the Oh Darling! (The Beatles week) and it was amazing! It is a honey, vanilla, cinnamon flavored latte and WOW! My husband got the hot latte and I got the iced and they were both phenomenal! We also got the breakfast plate and a bacon, egg, cheese taco--both great! Nothing is better than homemade food! I will be coming back next time we're in town for sure! If you have time to come by, please do! 10/10! The owners are so kind and dealt with my crazy family so well! Biggest plus for me, was seeing the kindness and love of God being spread on their coffee sleeves ❤️

I've been here multiple times and they never disappoint! I actually prefer them over Texas Grounds Coffee. You get great and friendly service every single time! They have outdoor seating and games for you to enjoy spending time with friends or family as well. Prices are great for the portions of food you get and drinks are always cold or freshly hot! Will continue to support this small business ❤

Warmest environment. Cute cafe with friendly staff. Iced London Fog was so good. Along with their grilled cheese :) Will definitely go back to try their signature lemonades <333

Very delicious and fresh food! We absolutely loved the outdoor seating and the coffee selection was quite unique and very flavorful and that's coming from someone who doesn't really like coffee. I was very impressed

Second time getting coffee from The Cracked Mug Coffee House. Barista’s are always pleasant and they give you recommendations if needed. Coffee menu is extensive and better than going to Fivebucks! Stay local - Shop local!!

Shared amazing discussion with hubby and friend over a scratch made breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, skillet potatoes and toast. Tried the Turtle Latte and was not disappointed with good Pecan, chocolate and caramel flavors. Clean restroom, cozy setting, plenty of outdoor seating options. As I was leaving, a young lady heard me mentioned a sharp pain in my shoulder. She asked which should it was and then offered to pray over it. Good food, and my shoulder doesn't hurt anymore!

(Updated: I've been coming to the Cracked Mug for several years, and I've got to knock a couple stars off their rating now. The last 6 visits I've eaten inside and there is always some kind of group or one-on-one "bible study" happening. My most recent visit there was two happening at the same time, and it destroyed that homey calm feeling that I used to love about this place. The conversations sounded, for better lack of a word, cult-like and creepy. It's impossible in such a small space to not overhear any conversation. I'm assuming the owner is okay with this because it's not a random occurrence anymore and some of the people being preached at weren't eating or drinking anything. A recent reviewer complained this place turned hipster - I wish this was the truth because that would be much more preferable.)
It is very cute and charming with both inside and outside seating. Their menu includes seasonal coffee drinks, flavored lemonades, pastries, and entire breakfast or lunch options. I love how creative their seasonal drinks are. Both the breakfast plate and the breakfast bowl are excellent.

Be prepared to wait when its busy. The wait is worth the experience at the cracked mug. The house coffee is bottomless and pretty good. The iced coffee was very good and smooth. The keto scamble was great, it was a bit too cheese-y but did not detract from the flavor. The breakfast sandwich was standard on texas toast. The waffles were delicious very flavorful and sweet, just a touch of syrup needed. Outside seating was nice and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Yikes. Eat at home. It will taste the same. I asked for over medium and got sunny side over. There is. A difference. Thank goodness for chalupa.
The bread/ it’s store bought, white. Yuk. It came w jelly. Lol.
I would not recommend you leaving the comfort of your home.

My husband and i went to the cracked mug for breakfast . Place was empty. We ordered breakfast when breakfast came it was cold. Potatoes were wet and cold the sausage you couldn't cut there were 5 employees hanging out most on phones. Maybe it was an off day but for $38 we should have at-least got something that was edible.
