Ascension Coffee - Crescent Court

Love the wagyu (sp?) beef pastrami hash with a fried egg over the top! Underneath is a bed of sweet potatoes & gold potatoes, flavored with some grilled onion strings & bell peppers. The coffee is very good, fresh & well prepared. Great latte presentations as well, but be prepared to order 2 lattes! A result of being both tasty & only about 6 or 8 oz.

Latte and nitro cold brew were excellent. The nitro was super strong which more than made up for it being a little small.

Love this location!! Great food and great coffee!!! You’ll get your parking ticket validated when you come and eat here!

Had breakfast here this weekend and it was awful! Service was bad, the wait staff could have cared less that we were there. My coffee had grounds in it, my husband’s espresso was cold and that was the best part. We had to call the waitress over and when we asked if we could order, the response was “uh sure”. My husband ordered fruit and when it didn’t show with his order, he tried to give her an out and she was just clueless. My eggs were cold and none of us were going to send our food back as we had already waited 45 minutes to order and we arrived early! Next time we will eat at The Crescent Hotel or somewhere else. Will not eat here again.

Ascension brew did not taste good. Tasted like the water they use was off or their machine is has a lot of buildup. Ordered some kind of Australian pie that the server told me is heated up in the microwave but came out with a Luke warm center and wasn’t worth sending back because it didn’t taste good. For the price this place is horrible. Gave 2 stars only because I did like the interior of the place.

I am updating my review for this place. I am a regular customer. It has been three times in a row in one week that service has been really bad. Food & coffee still good but the service has been terrible. I had taken too long for the food to be ready, even for just coffee. I am not coming again, at least for a while.

Best coffee in Dallas, with different brew methods and beans from different parts of the world. Food and service are really good. Excellent option for breakfast with a variety of dishes including poached eggs & sandwiches. Also a great place to a have a glass of wine at lunch and dinner.

Honestly I’ve had some really bad service from here. But I decided to go again and hang with some friends and wow what a big difference. A gentleman from Connecticut (I think his name is Andre?) took great care of us made us laugh and you could tell the other people he was serving enjoyed him. Will be back for sure

Ascension was such a relaxing and pleasurable time. Starting with the coffee, we got a caramel latte that was as delicious as it was good to look at. The flavor packed a tamed punch. The food we had was also top notch. The French toast was some of the best I've had in a while, oozing with sweet and inviting taste. The chicken sandwich was so balanced in flavor that each bite demanded the next. Atmosphere is also some of my favorite. You can easily grab your computer or work and feel comfortable to have a productive session. The environment is calm and welcoming. So grab a friend or something nice to focus on and enjoy the vibes! Recommend 👍

30 minutes to make a cappuccino at 9:30 in the morning. Absurd. I left before I got my coffee because the place was so slammed and the service was so slow.

The food is okay and the customer service was okay. I just ordered from here. My banana nut muffin that was very dry and my toast was very hard. My avocado slices were not fresh and turned brown. I was disgusted with my order. Maybe I’ll have to come in person for the full experience because this was an order over the phone. The girl on the phone could use better customer service phrases like “I apologize for your order, what can we do to fix it?” Instead she said “I’m sorry, we’ll make sure this won’t happen next time.” Then she hung up. No other options or anything was offered. I wasted my coins and may not order from here again.
