Beautiful place with tasty food and great coffee.

Seems like a good concept but when we walked in we were asked to have a seat for dine in, was told someone would be right with us. 35 minutes later someone comes over, we'd been trying to get someone's attention to no avail and when we asked to order at the counter were told to sit down and someone would be right with us, and asks if we'd been helped yet. We order, someone immediately brings out a sandwich and puts it in front of us without saying anything, turns out it is someone else's order. Someone else comes over, removes it, and apologies to the person it was suppose to go to, just dropping it off at the right table. Food was tough, chicken sandwich was microwaved, bread was okay though. Really like the fries. We both also liked our coffee. The reason we stayed was the fact is was literally pouring outside and had walked there in the first place.

The food at Ascension has a unique American twist and is quite delicious.

Great place for a quick breakfast. Avocado toast was decent. Good flavor. The coffee was good here too, but the cappuccino could be better with fuller froth.

This was a nice spot in a lovely location. I ordered the yogurt/granola and a matcha latte, and my boyfriend ordered a breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. He seemed happy with the sandwich and the coffee. My matcha latte was one of the better lattes I've had. It had a good flavor without being too sugary.

The yogurt/granola was good but the ratio of yogurt to granola was way off to me. I am attaching a picture of the dish. There was a dollop of yogurt but so much granola that there wasn't enough yogurt to mix in with the granola.

Our server was helpful. Unfortunately we had to wait a while for a check and it wasn't clear if we needed to pay up front or with our server (eventually we paid with the server). Also, when my boyfriend finally paid, he wasn't shown a check first. The server took his card and put it in the payment machine.

If you want to eat clean and healthy, Ascension is your place.
We love the veggie omelette, the vegetables are fresh; they are the perfect blend!
The food is five star!
And the service is five star!
I’m disappointed that the mimosa special was stopped. It was a great deal that is greatly missed. That’s a three star disappointment!

I was totally surprised. Ordered online, I work next door. Called 40 minutes later, had not heard from at all. ‘Oh yes, I have it ready for you’ When I arrived my food was cold and the fries where super hard. The only thing done right was the toasting of the bread because everything else was so bland. I just don’t know why people buy here. It’s just hype. :(

Excellent! They are very attentive and always trying their best, wonderful people and delicious coffee! Great seating too whether you're the friendly type or not!

My favorite coffee shop in Dallas! Awesome quality food. It's a small menu but everything on it delicious. They also serve beer and wine. Parking is limited during rush hours, valet parking is offered. I cheat and park across the street next to Ann Sacks.
