Medici Coffee

Recently visited and this place was the jam. They were actually reasonably fast considering the huge volume of people they were working thru. The cashier was engaged (surprise!). The breakfast taco was tasty (not the best in the airport, but it worked). And, the coffee was spot on. Overall, it was MUCH better than I expected. If the other coffee joints are shellacked (like they usually are), this isn't that bad.

I had a great experience at the airport location. It was busy but it didn't take long to receive my order. I tried the breakfast tacos which were cheesy, warm and tasty. I liked the fact that the Cafè Mocha was not overly sweet. The price is reasonable considering being at the airport. I would def buy again.

Thanks for the cinnamon roll. Best one I’ve had in an airport. The person did offer to warm it up. Thought it was kind nut it’s just a bit above room temperature. Next time I’ll ask for longer heat. Nonetheless, I appreciate you being here and having a tasty treat.

2 stars because the staff was great. -3 because the breakfast tacos were genuinely pretty gross (and I tried all 3 of them lol). These are not Medici breakfast tacos… these aren’t Austin tacos even. I’ve been going to medici for years. I love Medici. I don’t know what the heck these are. I had to throw one of them out. And where is y’all’s salsa? Packets of weird red salsa? Where is the good stuff? Sorry, but shoulda gone to Jo’s. If you are going to go to Medici’s, go to them in the city.

Cappuccino was not good. Not sure if it's the beans or the machine, but quite acidic and very bitter. Service was great! Danish was lackluster.

Airport prices for the saddest pastries and rude service. I’m not even sure it’s a real espresso machine. Cannot recommend. You’re better off at Starbucks.

They offer breakfast tacos...but I stead they are toasted tacos....and very bland.
Noone was in front of me and it took 23 minutes to get my "tacos" absolutely ridiculous!!!

Don’t stop here for coffee if you don’t like rude unhelpful staff that really aren’t interested in customer service. I ordered a drip coffee and was given an empty cup and directed to the thermos type dispenser. I inquired about a cup of water to go with my coffee and was told I have to buy water. Not great coffee and rude staff make this a no go! Starbucks is close by…go there instead!

I’m normally a huge fan of Medici and their coffee is delicious BUT this location isn’t my favorite. Minimal seating available and it’s pretty full. And they still have the extra seating blocked off

Worst breakfast sandwich I've had in the USA. Cashier had a very bad attitude oh and a little bottle of water is $4.99. coffee had no flavor..so glad I'm flying to Mexico right now for real food 😆
