Judy’s Bread & Breakfast Bakery Cafe

During my stay at the Holland Hotel in Alpine, TX along with my family and loveones, we had the opportunity to have breakfast here. It was delicious! We loved it. Service was excellent and top notch! For those planning to visit Alpine, Texas, I highly recommend it. Enjoy 😋🥓🥐🥖🥯🧇🍓🥞🍳

Sometimes this place can be on point. The last time I went in, it wasn't up to the mark. The biscuit was overworked and a bit tough. There was not enough gravy. I'm not sure why they didn't put the gravy on top of the biscuit, either. They were skimpy on the potatoes which were also overcooked. On the positive side of things, the eggs were perfectly cooked. People who came in after our party of two were served before we were. For someone who hadn't been here before, I would order eggs and toast here and expect a bit of a wait.

Just had a short stop with Amtrak in Alpine. Restaurant in train was closed, so no coffee in the morning … which is bad. We ran over to the cafe, asked for coffee and told them we are here by train. They immediately got the situation and few seconds later, we got our coffee and a little present for the way.

Too bad we could not stay longer.

The pancakes were so delicious! It was fairly busy but the service was still good and incredibly friendly.

The decor was nice and the servers friendly, but the coffee was super weak. Adding one creamer made me feel like I was drinking half and half.

Great stop driving back home from big bend. Breakfast was amazing fresh cinnamon roll and muffins.

Breakfast was great! The staff was great! The pancakes with blueberries were phenomenal!!! I am a pancake person and these were on my top list!

Excellent breakfast! The stars of the show were the pastries. We got a sticky bun (topped with honey and pecans), my husband got biscuits and gravy, and I got a croissant breakfast sandwich. It almost seemed like a crime to turn a beautiful, flaky croissant into a sandwich. It was delicious.

The service was great.

We'll be back tomorrow to try a cinnamon roll!
