I agree with the other review, there aren’t enough stars! This place is awesome. We had breakfast and although they were extremely busy, our service was great. The food was amazing and great coffee!

Wait staff excellent! Cook, not so much. Had to add a lot of salt and pepper to get any flavor. Fried potatoes tasted like boiled. Asked for very crispy bacon because I can't stomach the texture of the uncooked fat. Despite the waitress getting him to try again, it still wasn't crisp. Wait staff 5 star. Cook 2.

I really enjoyed eating there. The food was wonderful. I had breakfast the pancakes were very good as well.

lots of good choices of salads, eggs, pastries and breads. xlnt downtown location and fair prices. fan noise made it difficult to converse, which won't be a problem in cooler weather.

Great breakfast spot with the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had! My group had pancakes, eggs, sausage, grits, and bacon - everything was excellent. Fast, friendly service.

It took 20 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge our presence. After 55 minutes, we still haven't seen any food. But,to be fair, very little seems to be coming out of the kitchen, so we're not the only ones. Came in for breakfast, but at this rate, we should have ordered lunch!

Wish I could comment on the food, but nothing to comment on!

Update: After waiting over an hour, we gave up and left.

Great place. Super friendly folks and the food was fantastic. Coffee and cinnamon roll were among the best I've had.

Have to visit and eat here every time we visit Alpine. Biscuits stand 3 inches tall and are super moist. Delicious.

We were told not to come here by some locals, but we looked at the menu and place and figured we'd still give it a try. When we walked in, there were 3 occupied tables (so the place wasnt busy) and it was unclear whether we were to seat ourselves, but after standing at the entrance for a good moment and not being acknowledged we assumed it was seat yourself (this was confirmed after we did that and saw a small sign at the counter saying seat yourself). We sat and waited for 10 minutes, and never received a nod, remark, or really any acknowledgement that we were there. We ended up leaving, and as expected, went unnoticed just like when we first walked in.
