You could be fooled by the storefront facade into passing this place by, perhaps seeing no hint of the delicious baked goods within. Don’t. The decor is pretty standard with a selection of tables (including some larger communal tables for those more sociable than your reviewer). The service is friendly and efficient. While we were there several people were asked if they wanted “the regular.” Clearly, repeat locals. The baked goods are fresh and nicely done - not too sweet but plenty generous. We took some with us after breakfast and savored them lovingly half way through our 12 mile hike in Big Bend.

Be aware of the (to a big city dweller) weird days and hours of opening. Like many businesses in the area, there clearly is not enough custom to open every day of the week during certain seasons. We were there during spring break but, even then, the place was closed (disappointingly) on several days we wished to return.

Excellent as always. Can’t beat the hospitality, service and most of all the tastes 🤤

There are not enough stars for Judy’s Bread and Breakfast This place was amazing! Great breakfast 🥞🍳 and great lunch options! City Folk be warned don’t expect to eat breakfast all day! We had to order from the lunch menu at 11:30 am but we were not disappointed!! I had a delicious reuben sandwich on freshly made bread! I returned the next day for breakfast and I had the biscuits and gravy and man it was delicious try their homemade cinnamon buns!! You won’t regret it! Everyone was sooo nice and welcoming!

Absolutely loved the food and service here. We were there for 7 days, and wound up having breakfast here almost every day during spring break. We will absolutely be back.

I'm from out of town, and a server. I'm super impressed by this little breakfast stop. The service was phenomenal, our coffee was truly bottomless! Very intimate spot. The food is delicious. I hope to come back again. :)

TL;DR: excellent bread and muffins, but extremely slow (but friendly) service, and only passable breakfast food.

Don't go into this place if you are hungry. By the time you get your food, you will be ravenously eyeing your table companions' leather purse straps for sustenance. We waited 60 minutes for our food. It was passable once it arrived, but the yogurt parfait had canned fruit mixed into it, and the omelette was only lukewarm.

The bread, however, was excellent, as was the blueberry muffin we ordered to tide us over until our breakfast arrived.

The staff are unfailingly nice but unfortunately this place is not being run well.

A group of four of us seated ourselves on a Sunday morning. A waitress came and took our order right away. Our food came out faster than expected, even though there were several other parties dining. The food was all delicious.

Great Breakfast! We were seated immediately, the wheat bread was delicious!! We were thankful that they were open on Sunday! Everything was cooked well and tasted great!

Excellent food. Cowboy breakfast was great. Cinnamon roll was even better!! Good, fast service as well.

We have always loved Judy’s and went out of our way to eat there when visiting the region. When picking up food the other day, I noticed staff were not wearing masks. We didn’t order takeout the following day as planned and will no longer be customers.
