Came with a group of people from young children to "mature" and everyone found something to love. The staff was so helpful with our selections. The food quality matched the beer. Definitely recommend the Fish and Chips as well as their Brown Sugar Latte! Environment is high end and relaxing. Felt welcome to spend all the time we wanted visiting and enjoying the night. We will certainly be back often.

I had a wonderful experience tonight. It was my first time visiting and it won't be my last. The food was delicious, the service was excellent from a very friendly staff.

I generally don’t like wheat ales but occasionally if feeling adventurous I’ll step out of my comfort zone. Tis the season I guess. The dunkelweizen here is great, among the best I’ve ever tried. Aside from the great taste, the body and mouthfeel are on point making it a perfect well-rounded beer.

Nice area located in downtown Abilene. Very lively atmosphere serves nice mixture of drinks. A little pricey compared to other local bars/restaurants, but definitely not average. A great place to hang with friends and family. I didn't eat but I will try the food next time. We sat out on the balcony definitely a bonus. Highly recommended 👌

The 1-20 west beer was good real smooth.
And the BUFFALO CHICKEN FRITES was very different from what I'm used to 9/10. Just packed full of flavor all in all good experience

The atmosphere of Grain Theory is top notch! Love the industrial feel and the open concept seating. We had date night here for our first time and it was a vibe. I had to take one star off because I wasn’t really impressed with the the beer I ordered (although it did make for a good pic) and the fish was just okay. The frites and wide variety of dipping sauces they offer were outstanding! I’d recommend the “purple haze ranch” to any ranch lover. I would definitely come back and explore the other offerings of beer and food they have on their menu.

Fantastic! Nick really knows his beers and is a SUPER nice guy. The beer is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the view is elevated. I would highly recommend this business and I will be returning the next time I visit Abilene.

Great place. I really like the patio. I like the ever changing beer and food menu, makes it fun. But the menu also keeps some of the popular items so that your favorites are always there. Friendly staff. Great food, drinks and atmosphere.

The atmosphere was upscale industrial with Jack White playing on the sound system and a full house. The staff was plentiful, friendly and attentive and the bar, tables and restrooms were very clean. I did a flight of their beers and all of them were well made. None blew me away but they were all very good representations of their respective styles. The food was simple and they had very good intentions but unfortunately it wasn't particularly well executed. We ordered the International Sausage Tray and the Fish and Chips. The bratwurst had a very good flavor but was luke warm at best as was the sausage. The sausage however was not only luke warm but very dry. The fish was a very good flavor and reasonably warm but not hot. The fries on both orders were only warm. I will write this meal off as them still in the learning curve as it is still early since their opening. We will try it again but not for another month or so as they get their execution down.
