Hunter's Bakery and Cafe

I ordered a carrot cake for Easter like I have the past years except for 2020 due to covid and we did not gather. I expected the 2 layer cake that looked as amazing as it tasted but instead I received a sheet cake that looked like a 4 year old put the icing on. For the $35 I spent I expected what I had received in previous years. It came in a box like the canned vegetables are in on supermarket shelves with only paper underneath which made transfer to something else a nightmare (couldn't put that box on the Easter table) it was hardly touched definitely a last time for me very disappointed

I had a meeting with Hunter's Cafe today about possibly catering my wedding. We went an hour ahead of time to eat before the meeting. When we got in the door we had to wait for two separate tables to be sat up because we were told that our party of 6 could not be sat together due to Covid. There was already a table of 6 seated. Two other families came in after us and was seated before us. After we got sat a party of 11, YES ELEVEN was sat down and was able to sit together but not us.. we waited for some time and noone ever came to our table. We decided to get up and leave and not only not eat there, but cancelled our catering appointment on the way out. If there service was any indication of how it would have been at my wedding then I am so glad I got a preview before my wedding was ruined.

Best Cafe and Bakery I've ever been to. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was really nice. All around I lived it

Great fresh made to order food. Rueben and smothered burger were "simple" but delicious. Homemade chips were excellent! Sweet potato fries were really good too.

Well worth the drive if you're coming from Knoxville or Chattanooga. Great food, always consistent. Casual, yet elegant. Especially love the vegetarian options. Highly recommend!

The food was ok. The owner's daughter was awful! She came came by our table with water and my husband asked for some. She walked right by like we were not even sitting there. She came by and spoke to some customers by name, but wouldn't even look at us. If I could give 0 stars I would, due to her lack of hospitality!

Locals who have ate there a handful of times and each time is more disappointing. We will not be back. Slow service with newly changed higher prices. The order is frequently wrong. We ordered take out and returned it as it was someone else’s order...they gave it to the other person after we had left with the food and brought it back. Disgusting.

Incredible! My husband and I were traveling one weekend and decided to try Hunter's. We were very impressed with the menu. The food we ordered was delightful and the service was great! We will definitely return to Hunter's next time we are in the area.

90 min delivery wait, cold food, no flavor, had to assemble our own burgers. Everything was separately bagged (lettuce, tomato, onion, stale buns) WEIRD! 🤔

Great service and food, will definitely be going back!
