Philly portabello sandwich was amazing. Lots of gluten-free options. Lovely wait staff. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. A must when antiquing in sweetwater.

The Fish Tacos were a real surprise. Didn’t expect it to be so fresh, and tasty. Deserts should be ordered on entering, may be gone before you are finished.

We visited the Lost Sea Caverns before eating at Hunter's. The service was excellent, we were seated immediately. We had a vegeterian in the party who had the Portabello burger, and who said it was the most excellent burger of her life. I had the chickeb salad on a croissant, which was fantastic.

Adorable cafe in downtown historic Sweetwater. Hunter's serves delicious, locally sourced food by a staff that is helpful and friendly. The small pastry shop in the front of the cafe offers yummy, homemade-type baked goods. Definitely recommend you make this a stop on your itinerary!

Charming quaint atmosphere. Delicious food , great coffee and wonderful service. Would definitely recommend you stop in here. Best to check for serving hours as they are only open for a few hours daily but worth the time.

Steak sammich was cold, fries were too. Black bean wrap was pretty good, but fries were cold with it too. Fettuccini was runny, needed more parmesan I think, and no bread with it??? Rueben sammich was light on the fillings, flat and cold. French onion soup was sad... Cheese sunk to bottom, soggy crouton was on its way down to meet the cheese. We did get free dessert, pineapple cake was very good, and brownie was tasty, but a little dry.

You walk in and immediately smell the pastries which sit at your right. I automatically check the bakery before I order lunch so I know what to order! For 11 years, Hunter's has been the downtown place for lunch and weekend dinners. Elegant yet casual, the food is home-made from scratch.

Overpriced food, low quality service. My Cesar salad came with the dressing on the side instead of already mixed together, and it wasn't enough dressing and they also put black olives and onions on the salad. A Cesar salad? Better off driving to Knoxville for better food.

It was a pleasant corner restaurant, with an old time feel to it. We ate outside, and enjoyed the small town downtown atmosphere Sweetwater has to offer.
