Cafe Strudel West Columbia

We were crammed in the corner, server wasn’t friendly or attentive and my food tasted and looked like they put it together in 1 minute. I ordered a quesadilla and it was mainly made of banana peppers and the cheese wasn’t even really melted with no flavor at all. We came in hungry and waited an hour with no problem but the overall experience was kind of annoying. I get they are busy but good food and service is expected.
I work in the food industry so I get it but it just wasn’t good.

Food was delicious and served quickly. Staff was friendly. Loved the coffee bar and seeing the orange juice machine in action.

We love this place! The food is fantastic and the service is great. They have a full bar and we've only been there for breakfast, but I did have a Paloma Mimosa and it was delicious.

It's an old building with tight seating but they are pretty modern and your bill can be paid via a QR code on your phone.

Again, love the food and the service!

My husband and I went here for the first time today. The hangover hashbrowns were amazing and so was the crab cake eggs Benedict! Strongly recommend both of these dishes

Delicious French toast! Definitely a place that shouldn't be missed if you visit Columbia. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone is so nice. They even have fresh squeezed orange juice.

As a tourist you will be disappointed. We were told there would be a 40 minute wait while half the tables were empty. Locals would come in and chat with the staff before being seated without checking in. We were told it was because there were big tables ahead of us which made no sense because that doesn't affect a 4 seat booth. We were finally seated at our booth once every group waiting had been seated before us to include people who came in after us and we were seated at a booth which was unoccupied the entire time we waiting. The food took nearly an hour to arrive once we ordered. We heard the waiter apologizing several times for mistakes the kitchen made. The food itself is mediocre and could be found at any diner in America. The only thing saving it from a 1 star rating is the cheese grits which were amazing.

Rented the private dining room for Mother’s Day well worth it. Service excellent food excellent.

Cozy spot for breakfast. I had the sunrise burrito and a cinnamon pancake. My wife had the special of the day. Bottomless coffee bar with several options. Come early because it fills up fast.

I've always had a good experience at this restaurant. I love the local feel of the place. As a local, I love the stories behind dishes, especially the Hangover Hashbrowns.

Pro tip: Get their early, preferably before 10am.

The food is amazing. Love the coffee bar. All the food taste so good and home cooked.
