Cafe Strudel West Columbia

Great food and great service. Probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Bloody mary and low country hashbrowns were good too.

Great local breakfast and brunch. Expect a 10-20min wait. Coffee options are one of the best reasons to go here.

Great restaurant! Food is amazing! Had a seafood Mac and cheese like no other. And since I couldn't choose between the seafood Mac and cheese and the Duck grilled cheese I ordered them both! Yum!

My daughter wanted to go to the West Columbia location of Cafe Strudel for her birthday. I took in a cookie cake for dessert. I was told very rudely (by the manager we believe) that there would be a $25 charge if we kept the cookie cake bc they serve dessert. I have done that at many other restaurants that serve desserts. I don’t think I would have had as much of a problem with it if it was said differently. It literally was barked at us. We had 7 people so we had a pretty considerable bill. On top of that our food took forever to come out. Tables sat after us received their food before us. Our waitress kept coming by to apologize. Needless to say we will not be frequenting that restaurant again.

Great place to eat either alone or with family/friends. I love the coffee bar. The cinnamon pancakes are amazing. Although I haven't tried them, they are well known for their hangover hash browns!

This place was really really good. We did have an extended wait for brunch, but they can't help that the place was at maximum capacity. Try it out. You can't go wrong with a bloody Mary here. Plenty of spice and good flavors.

Classic two egg breakfast. Eggs over easy. Bacon. Gouda cheese grits. Croissant. Fresh squeeze orange juice.

Grits seems like it was microwaved. Grits were undercooked. They were hard and had a weird texture.

Bacon had a weird chewy texture.

Croissant was stale.

We don't get it. I read good reviews for a VERY sub-par "cafe". Get your own coffee...Really! Feels dirty. Watered down cranberry juice $5. Food was not good and presentation terrible. Oh, music selection was great... But TOO LOUD especially for morning meal. Good luck with this place. 😝
