Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The young men with the red hair stopped making my smoothie to scratch his head and run his fingers through his hair. After he finished he continued to make my smoothie without washing his hands. I wasn’t in the mood to argue with anyone so I just threw my smoothie away when I left without making a scene. This place definitely need to provide a workplace sanitation class for their workers.

The manager rang me up, took my name and told me that it would be ready in a minute. After fifteen minutes and watching about eight people get their orders (including one who ordered a second round), I approached the cashier to find out what was happening. Then, and only then, did they realize that my smoothie had been done for ten minutes but they hadn't written my name down and forgot to call it out. It's ok though. After wasting half of my lunch break, they gave me a dollar off coupon for wasting my time.

In response to the owner: no. It was not made correctly but I didn't find out until I gave it to my wife. I gave you two stars because I got bonus points for surprising her with a smoothie but not the other three because it was wrong and it took me approaching the cashier to ask if it was ready. I would have overlooked not being addressed by name if they'd walked out and asked "who ordered this?"

We just finished eating here and it was amazing! We each got a smoothie and shared a peanut butter flatbread crunch. Absolutely delicious! Service was friendly, quick and place was clean. Highly recommend this place!

I loved Tropical Smoothie Cafe and their products, just not this location. They don’t honor the APP nor the rewards. The space is way too small and it’s quite awkward and narrow getting to the restroom with mobility equipment. I did not find the staff very cheerful nor helpful. Perhaps it was just their bad day. This location has no drive thru either.

i had my father pick up an island green smoothie for me after getting my wisdom teeth out and it was perfect! was blended very smoothly and tasted delicious! love this place!

I love tropical smoothie! The staff is always friendly and accommodating even during rushes. The smoothies are fantastic and a favorite among my family.

every time I ordered or came in store managers are nasty I recently order I was only 2 seconds made a mistake to order for delivery so I called manager goes I'm not giving u a refund it's already made how u already maid it when I just ordered its only Ben 2 seconds she was nasty I called corporate I do not recommend this location I never have this issues downtown Columbia it's only Ben this location never will I order from hear again and yall would be so quick to blame customers when everytime I go in there yall have maid mistakes on customers orders I've seen with my own eyes even my orders have Ben put in incorrect when Me and my husband tell yall what we wanted more then one time stealing people money will cause u to loose business and yall lost my business and I will be telling others not to come hear

First off i love love this place. Second ive been reading reviews and let me say... THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS RESPONSES. I work in retail and wish i could take up for my employees online like you do. Its not faie to get a bad review off ONE. Experience. Everyone has odd days!!! Shows what a great owner/boss you are. Always fast service friendly and clean! I come at least twice a week now! Love you guys!!!

Place sucks. This is also ran by the same people as the one on USC campus. They gave my 6 year old child a smoothie with a double shot of caffine. After we caught the mix up, they smiled laughed it off than gave us another drink. Really appreciate that my sons heart didnt burst as he does have a murmur. The only good thing about it was you did honor the coupons at one point in time, when me and the family came, even though you dont have the level up app. Now you dont. What happened to the customer is always right. Orders that have been ordered with no whey protein add pea. Had whey and just added pea. It's ok though whey just kills my stomach so I still have diarrhea from yesterday 7/21/19. Yep just came in. Hope you got what you wanted. I was taught to not say anything at all if you have nothing good to say. You pushed my hand on that one. Google please update your rating system so I can give negative stars. Everyone else out there disregard my review. Only if you want a smoothie that is not made to how you need it to save you from days of soupy diarrhea.

This place makes the most tasty smoothies I have tried. The service is fast and friendly. The smoothies are absolutely delicious. I usually get one every one or two weeks.
