Camp Umpy's Bagels & Stuff

This is authentic NYC style bagel quality. Their NY Bagel with lox is delicious! They have wraps and other baked goods as well. Service is friendly, fast and efficient and everything is super fresh!

This place is a hidden gem in Honesdale! Just a fantastic place to get breakfast. The owner was great, the bagels were perfect, and the food was phenomenal. We found the sandwich options to be creative without getting too crazy. I had an Asiago bagel with the cucumber dill cream cheese and I can’t say enough good stuff about that combo! We will absolutely be back, thank you!!

March 4th I was excited to see that there was gluten-free options at this establishment. I ended up calling in for a godfather with a gluten-free wrap. I drove in to Honesdale approximately 15 minutes and when I arrived they had switched the order instead of a wrap put it on a gluten-free sandwich. This was a big disappointment I was getting the food for my wife who has been at work all day. on top of that they charged me$10.87 for the small sandwich. I will not be returning to this business as I will support other local businesses that will take care of their customers. I was not offered a refund I was not offered any additional items for their mess up. no wonder why local businesses are dying.

Friendly staff and always clean. Just make sure you come early if you want your choice of all bagel flavors. When they run out for the day, you are SOL.

I’ve had no issues with Camp Umpy and its bagels. Wayne county has a clique that listens to another local bagel “shop” that slanders terribly for selfish gain. If you HEARD a bad thing about the bagel store I’m leaving a review for here, it probably was from that ignorant clique. TRY A BAGEL HERE and test it for yourself. Nothing “Brooklyn” about it, and honestly sometimes being different is ok. Staying original sometimes is boring. BAY RIDGE in Brooklyn was far from original…. just saying. That part of Brooklyn doesn’t represent what a real Yiddish bagel looks like. Also, Camp Umpy doesn’t use microwaved meat and microwaved pre packaged scrambled eggs to represent a CITY located in New York like a local Wayne County bagel “shop” -plus Camp Umpy promotes a healthy way to eat a bagel! Fresh local ingredients and numerous tasty sandwich options.

The staff are super nice and friendly and I really loved the decor inside. Lots of different bagel options and they were super yummy.

Looking for the best bagels in town with the most options? This is the place! From bagels to spreads, there is something for everyone—regardless of dietary restrictions. I love this place and always have! Fast service and great coffee/hot drinks as well.

Staff is friendly, place is clean and the food is delicious. Definitely a good place for breakfast sandwiches, bagels and lunch. There is cute seating for eating in or take it with you. A must try for a quick spot if you're passing through or new to the area.

They are the best in Honesdale pa. The only problem is whenever I want to go there they are closed. Wish I could just get a sandwich 🥪
