Great coffee while passing through Honesdale. I have been wanting to try Black and Brass coffee and had recently stopped at their newer location had been looking forward to seeing this one. Who wouldn’t want to take 15 minutes to see relaxing with a coffee next to a waterfall on a summer afternoon after all. The coffee did not disappoint. I got a black and brass (chocolate caramel latte), my wife a lavender latte, mom an americano, and daughter an oat milk chit chocolate. It was great to have dairy alternatives so that she could enjoy as well. The coffees were so good we got some refills for the road and a few bags of beans to go. If they add some egg free options to the bakery case and I’ll be a regular!

My family has lived in this area for a long time. I always like to come and visit in the summer there is so much to see and do. Other than Dunkin there were few options for coffee and along comes this place. It’s a cool location with a water fall in the parking lot. The coffee is top notch and I’d rather support local business as I want to see this area continue to grow. I love a good lavender latte if you haven’t tried it I suggest you do.

I really hoped to rate this place (and the chain itself) higher, especially after my wife regularly visited it over the past couple years and was happy with it, however I can’t get past the quality of the coffee I got.
We have it two tries, in two different locations, with two different coffees - yet both times both of us were really unhappy with the product. The cold brew was bitter and left an unpleasant aftertaste with every sip, and the cappuccino was plain burnt. Not well roasted, just burnt.
It’s really unfortunate, as the service, menu and atmosphere of Black and Brass is really friendly and inviting… if only their coffee would match it.

Quaint little cafe with great coffee and comfy indoor seating and free wifi. But the real gem is behind the cafe. A hidden, man made waterfall. I was at peace with nature sipping on my coffee with my pup.

Awesome trendy feeling little coffee shop. The barista was super friendly courteous and accommodating and got our drinks quickly. I was in the area visiting the Orthodox Monastery St Tikhon. I came in twice, once on Saturday and then Sunday afternoon before my wife’s choir concert nearby at Saint John’s. Whitney took care of us Sunday and is a wonderful young lady. Coffee was excellent too and the cold brew has a really good chocolate feel to it. The chocolate chip cookie was great and my kids said the hot chocolates were excellent.

This coffee shop is better than Starbucks and Dunkin. The coffee is made fresh and they also have whole beans you can buy by the bag. The whole bean coffee is delicious, I've used it for French press and the flavor is really next level.

Major coffee grains in my coffee. Staff was awesome but after talking to them.. this place is a huge turn off.. the owner treats them like quote on quote.. coffee grains.. I was flabbergasted by this response.. laughed.. yes.. but everyone employed here stated they hate it. I'm questioning this establishment. What's actually going on?. Management and owners? You need to address the misery and quality. I'll try again in a few months.. place was great a year ago.

Ok for a local spot, but not something I would go out of my way for.
View = 5 stars due to the waterfall outback
Coffee = 2 stars - got a plain latte, tasted burnt so that was a waste of minimum $5. 1 bonus star for the iced coffee having "coffee ice cubes" though.
Space = seems cool enough for honesdale PA

Consistently great coffee with a surprising bonus: a gorgeous view of waterfalls! Plenty of outdoor seating to take in the scenery and enjoy, in the words of Agent Dale Cooper, “a damn fine cup of coffee.”

This place is simply bad. The owner, Travis Rivera, is extremely disrespectful and in no way professional. The man only cares about himself and the money. If you are considering working here, take advice from the many staff that have quit and moved elsewhere, or the many other businesses in the area and boycott this abomination of a coffee shop.
