Camp Umpy's Bagels & Stuff

Breakfast time! Up in Honesdale in Northeast PA is Camp Umpy’s Bagels & Stuff! I love themed cafes and restaurants, so as soon as I had originally found them online I knew I had to stop in. It had the same cabin and lake vibes that you would feel at summer camp and the lovely staff was so warm and welcoming. It’s impossible to not be a happy camper during a visit to Camp Umpys!

Since our first visit, we try to make a stop there every time we are in the Honesdale area and to this day is one of my highest recommendations for those visiting. If you are ever in the area, a meal at Camp Umpys is a must!

I’ve loved Umpy’s bagels for years, but I never realized the power of their food until I scheduled a meeting at work with the promise of lunch from Umpy’s. DOUBLE the number of people showed up just for a bite of a delicious assortment of sandwiches! It was super easy to order, and the lunch was a huge hit!

Side note: my daughter LOVES Umpy’s rainbow bagels. They’re magic!

Great bagels. They make all kinds of time sandwiches with them. Get there early because they run out of the popular flavors.

We love grabbing breakfast from here! Staff has always been super friendly and accommodating. (Lovely plants as well)

We got a full spread of bagels, cream cheeses, and coffee for a group of 40 people and everybody loved it - Huge plus that they had vegan cream cheese and people raved about the bagels. Highly recommend!

My first visit to this Honesdale restaurant! We're ordered several lunch bagel sandwiches and they were all fantastic! Will definitely return!!!

Bagels good, sandwich too. Staff could be friendlier, but I for one appreciate the mask rule. My problem lies with this rancid brown avocado on our two sandwiches. If an avocado looks like this you don’t put it on a sandwich, that’s actually just mean and gross. Why?

Feeling lucky that we have a house in Honesdale and can drop in on Camp Umpy’s, but this place is worth a drive. Best bagel I’ve had in years, and the choices are amazing.

Super friendly and engaging staff! The bagels are delicious and the menu is unique. I popped in while making a stop in town, because bagels, and will definitely visit again when I'm out that way!

Expensive and small average tasting bagels. Long time to get 2 simple breakfast sandwiches. Your service employees behind the counter could stand to smile every once in a while as well. Your sign touting left wing socialist ideologies needs to stay in the backroom. That is not a great business decision, leave politics out. I will never go back and will encourage my friends and colleagues the same.
