Ebru Coffee Roastery

So happy I found this place! I have been wishing for a real coffee place for so long! I went in during their 'soft opening' and can't wait to go back

I'm a travelling sales rep,so I get to try a lot of different coffee shops. I usually search for roasters because they tend to care more about the coffee than most coffee shops.

I came here both days I was in the area and plan to come back any time I'm back in the Philadelphia area.

I forgot the guy's name behind the counter, but it is clear he is passionate about what he does. He took the time to find out what I like in coffee and then when they didn't have that on tap, he did an iced pour over and it was fantastic! Appreciate the extra effort and a genuine, meaningful connection while on the road.

They definitely focus on putting out a quality product which means it may take a few minutes for them to work through the line. If you appreciate flavor and quality, it is worth the wait.

Like another reviewer said, if you are unsure where to go, you should pick Ebru.

I loved the latte with macadamia nut , light roast. Very cool cafe to start your Sunday Morning.
I definitely recommend it to my friends.

I enjoyed a very nice latte at this coffee shop. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was a calm, well it and open space. Unfortunately, the table that I was sitting at was placed right next to the coffee grinder which was extremely difficult to talk over during my meeting.

In response to the reply below: I am definitely surprised by the snarky tone of Ebru’s response. It’s somewhat telling that they see me, a customer, as a foolish enemy rather than a welcomed guest.

I got a mocha latter and it was ok. The chocolate wasn't great and there was a lot of milk. I'd try one more time though.

I always enjoy the coffee here. They even do good decaf. Their sweets are very good. A very nice blueberry muffin, and their peanut butter and jelly muffins are unique and very tasty. Not too sweet! Their chocolate chip cookies are very good too.

Good food and drinks but the managers/owners are absolutely awful to the employees. The shouting and cursing at the poor barista left a bad taste in my mouth. Will not return to this apparently abusive establishment.

All around awesome place. Cool location and ambience. I think some of the best coffee I ever had and I have tried most of their different menu items. Additionally very delicious food but very minimal menu. At times can be crowded and busy, but in my opinion well worth the wait.

Cortado was decent, but - the best breakfast sandwich I've had in my life. Honestly. Order the bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough. Thank me later.

Coffee was very good and strong. I got an iced latte, I like my coffee very sweet, so I added some creamer when I got home and It didn’t dilute the coffee taste at all like it would with most coffees. The inside is very modern and classy. The staff was also extremely nice! Their pastries also looked delicious! If you love a strong good quality coffee, you will love it!
