Grumpy's Cafe

Food was good.... but the butterscotch cookie I ate was bonkers delicious. Seriously. If I lived closer to this place it would be an issue.

AWESOME food. Lots of choices. Super great low prices, for very filling dishes. The guys were great and kept checking on us, too. Super cute little place. Loved it!

Always great service and food. My eggs were cooked perfectly.

They were a bit grumpy,food was good and they went out of their way to engage conversation with my 8 year old grandaughter. Very funny when she got upset about not getting a kitten for being unruly lol

Older lady waitress didn’t greet us and acted like a grumpy robot taking our order. Then right after she went and sat at another table. Didn’t give the chef our order and didn’t get our drinks. Finally a nicer guy went and got our drinks and got our order from her and took it to the chef. We then waited 45 minutes and looked around and no one around us had food. We asked the server nicely if they had an idea how much longer because we have a flight to get too in Portland. He then got grumpy with us and said there going as fast as they can. So we ended up canceling our order and leaving. Def recommend going to the espresso shack down the street instead.

Anyone who has given this place more than one star must have caught them on a really good day. Because today for us was bad, realllly bad. I agree with another review that this place should be happy with the extreme business of their establishment. There is one waitress gray hair with glasses that was extremely rude with facial expressions and body language my husband and I ordered a breakfast plate that came with meat but we did not care to have meat she gave us a look as if we were from another planet now I had we asked for a substitution which by the way none are allowed so we didn't ask nor did we ask for a concession such as taking anything off the price of the meal we gladly paid the full price of the meal even though we didn't care to have meat. When asked for decaf coffee from the other waitress the expression and the body language appeared to be that it was a struggle. Get with the times people some of us don't like regular coffee for whatever reasons, health or personal taste and some of us don't eat meat . we're not asking you to change your menu to reflect this so don't be rude to us because of our choices.... signs all over the place claims that their short staffed and we understand all of this the past two and a half years with covid but enough is enough already and if you can't play with the big boys then don't be in the industry quit taking it out on the customers why would anybody want to go back there and be treated with rude unfriendly you're bothering us attitude and to top things off the meal was disgusting

Bacon overcooked! So hard and crispy, had no flavor! Cubed Potatoes tasted rancid and were cooked so crispy, the skin was chewy. Could not even finish eating food. Older waitress lady was rude and the cook appeared young, obviously not much experience in the kitchen. Had high hopes due to other reviews, but would not return.

Couldn’t ask for more from a coastal cafe! Any reviewers who gave less than 5 stars were probably grumpy about something else that day.

My friends and I stopped by to grab some coffee. Even though they are a full restaurant, they accommodated our small coffee order. Waiter was FAST at refilling our cups. Great place! Will come back here sometime for food.

I ordered the eggs benedict and asked that the whites of the eggs be cooked done as I can't stomach runny whites. The order arrived, I showed them the runny whites they took them back, set them under the heat lamp for two minutes and brought them back out. Just as runny. When I didn't eat them they charged me full price for not touching my meal and said I ordered it wrong. The hasbrowns we're also under cooked. The service took long and was horrible.
