Grumpy's Cafe

It is a nice and clean little place, with the biggest pancakes I have ever had and has amazing pastries.( Turnovers being my favorite) I have them make me a order of chili cheese fries and they are AWESOME! The best homemade chili and huge pile homemade fries with cheese and onions to top it off. Love it.

Kind, friendly, and attentive service from staff. Large portions at reasonable prices. Food is delicious. Plain pancakes at other places are usually bland/flavorless, these are good just as is. Same with the French toast, they don't even need syrup as they are sweet with flavor off the skillet.

Will definitely come back around.

Don't let the name fool you, our server was delightful and friendly. Great classic breakfast. Food was great and arrived quickly.

This is a lovely dinner with charming staff and carefully prepared cuisine. I liked it so much i bought a hat. There are also 2 round tables with a cool black and white psychedelic pattern on them. Seemed equipped to handle children and their dining requirements as well. Eat here.

As a person still not 100% comfortable with indoor dining, i still support the small businesses i love. Grumpys is a great breakfast spot in the heart of Rockaway beach. Got ours togo so we could enjoy the food with our hotel beach view. Got the chicken fried steak and a bacon omlete. The wife and I made a little grumpys sampler from it. Yum. The cinnamon roll is huge too. Bring it on with the morning coffee ;)

Such amazing staff, fun and inclusive!! I cant wait to visit again. We were in the owners other shop, which was amazing and she told us about her restaurant.. they were closing and still let us in before they closed the doors. It really was great food!! Thanks for the best service!! Might have been the best of our whole trip!!

Staff was very pleasant, the eggs couldn’t have been cooked any better, gravy was noticeably made in house, sausage was quality. A+

Expect a smile when at Grumpy's. All the breakfasts are fairly large and very tasty. I had the all meat omelette, which came with toast and enough hash browns to share. Others in my party had biscuits with gravy and over easy eggs - all prepared without flaw.
