Amazing customer service. Food was so fresh. I had chicken strips but oh my lord they were amazing. They have full and half portion size although half should be a full portion. You get a great amount of food for the price.

Nice family- friendly country style food with an urban influenced bakery. Best Biscuits and Gravy this side of Montana. Very kid friendly and a nice atmosphere. Great cooking and friendly service. A real treat.

Great breakfast/lunch menu + kids menu with lots of options. Excellent atmosphere and very clean. If you're visiting, driving thru or an everyday resident this is a must! Thanks Jenny for taking great care of us.

TL;DR: They nailed it with their name & sign - this is a classy place with the perfect diner food!

I feel so lucky that most of my experiences lately have been 5 star and The Diner yet another winner.

I went at 10am on a Sunday, which is peak brunch time so I was anticipating a wait. While they were definitely busy, we were seated right away. The food menu was great and their drink menu was expansive! The food options all have a full and half option which was wonderful. They also have all their specials on the wall. I got the half order of their standard breakfast - egg, english muffin, hashbrowns, and sausage. They have 3 different types of bread, 3 different breakfast meat choices AND like 5 different potato choices. My friend got the biscuits and gravy.

As you can see, it was so yummy we forgot to take a picture until we were almost done! Everything was perfect and the biscuits and gravy are now in our top 5 in Oregon.

And on top of the amazing food, the staff was beyond friendly. Everyone checked on us multiple times. We never wanted for anything. Our water and coffee was constantly topped off, everything was quick, and they all seemed so genuinely nice.

Their name and sign are truly the epitome of this restaurant - friendly staff that makes you feel like family, classic diner food but made fresh and without the "greasy spoon" feel we've come to expect. Loved it!

One of the better rueben sandwich I've had. Good service. Overall good lunch. Will be back for their bloody Mary and breakfast soon!

Stopped by for lunch yesterday. The service was great. I had the corn beef hash. It was very good. I felt prices were good as well

We found The Diner looking for lunch after touring the Evergreen museum complex. It was quite a fine actually, local ingredients, well prepared less usual (and usual, but better prepared) options. I had the vegetable hash, which I will say... tasted good but had far too much oil (there was a puddle of oil in the bottom of the dish) for me. I couldn't eat all of it but the veggies were local and perfectly cooked. The seasoning was delicious. It was just that oil. My husband's dish was similarly attractively prepared and he really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. It's five minutes from the museums, so it works well. Unfortunately, it is small so if you're visiting at a busier time, you may run into a wait.

The speciality grilled cheese and pulled pork sandwich is delicious!!! Great service and atmosphere.
