We waited almost an hour for our food. We even watched people leave. As we were on vacation, we decided to wait it out. That was not easy with a two year old, but we did it. We are happy that we did. The food was delicious.! Our grandsons were also content. The staff apologized many times for how unexpectedly busy they were on a Tuesday morning. -Regina

A McMinnville gem located off the beaten path near Providence Hospital and HYW 18.
Cute, clean and brightly lite this little eatery is a popular place. Typically on weekends you will have to wait about 15 minutes for an available table. We (party of 3) arrived Saturday morning at 9:15 and had to wait about 13 minutes.
We were seated at a cozy booth the waitress greeted us immediately. We ordered Boozy Mimosas (Wild Roots Peach Vodka, Prosecco and fresh orange juice) while we perused the menu. The menu has unique choices which include several different versions of the classic Eggs Benedict. As well as daily specials.
I ordered Vegetable Hash - small portion. Mixed Local Vegetables fresh from farm partners. Mixed with diced yukon potatoes, topped with egg, served with toast.
My son in law had a Chicken Fried Steak - small portion. Tenderized, aged beef battered and fried to order smothered with house sausage gravy, eggs, and scallion and potatoes.
My husband had a Breakfast Sandwich. Toast, Egg, Meat, and Cheese with hash browns.
Our meals came out within 15 minutes, hot and fresh. Every dish was delicious and flavorful.
We enjoyed our breakfast, never felt rushed.
Great place to bring an out of town guest or stop by on your way to the beach.

Everything about this restaurant pleases you. The clean parking lot, the clean tables and booths, the smell of the coffee as well as whatever happens to be cooking at the time you walk in.
We happened to be starving when we ordered our food and we both got a type of hash. I got the corned beef and pastrami version and my wife got the veggie hash. My toast was rye, my wife's was sourdough.
Very tasty food served quickly and accurately. And as hungry as we were, we had to box up what we couldn't finish. My wife combined our two hashes in the take out box (along with an extra side of rye toast and raspberry jam - yummmm) and believe it or not, we each got two more meals out of the leftovers! Of course we added a few things at home, but we certainly enjoyed The Diner's food a couple days after first eating it.
Very efficient, friendly and attentive waitstaff.
There is no question that we'll be coming back to The Diner. And if you haven't been yet, treat yourself. You deserve it!

I don’t know what they do to the food? Some kind of magic? Granted, when I arrived I was hungry and didn’t want to cook today because I’m out running errands.
But it’s all the more reason for me to go someplace where I trust I’ll get really great service and fresh made and well crafted, food.
They have plenty of tasty 😋 stuff on the menu but my order is just cheesy scrambled eggs, hash browns and (yes) some local ketchup for both.
I didn’t even think about getting a photo until I had devoured half of it!!
It’s soooo good 😊 and everything tastes delicious. Yum and yummier!
The Diner. It’s rustic charm is never ending. I hate to post this because it’s like my secret go-to place but really it’s no secret.
It’s a well loved ☕️🍳spot and for good reason. Trust me, I be back again soon.

Always a great breakfast at The Diner.
Half orders are generous portions. My husband likes a basic breakfast with the sausage patties and says they are the best he's ever had. Good flavor, not greasy. Half order B&G with T Tots delish. Breakfast hours are busy but we've found late morning is the best time to go. Staff is always pleasant even on their busiest days.

Delicious!!! Everything taste so fresh. French toast is thick and amazing. Staff is so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend to stop by and give it a try. This place is 15 minutes from our hotel in Dundee, and we will be back

Exceptional farm-to-fork fare with friendly staff and daily specials that showcase the talent in the kitchen. Great location for casual dining.
Their location in the center of the Willamette wine country and surrounding AVA's provide great wine options you cam bring with for a reasonable corkage.

Right off of Highway 18, just a little bit out of town is the best Diner I have ever eaten at. The aesthetics are more modern compared to IHOP or Shari's, with rigid corners and large windows allowing natural light.
The drink selections are Coke products, something that a lot of diners I've been to don't have, and just another thing that sets them apart.
Being right next to a Hotel makes them a busy location during the breakfast hour.
This place has the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had in my life! The biscuits and gravy were done exceptionally well using a complex, but not over complicated list of ingredients, and the seasoning used on the perfectly crisp diced potatoes were flavorful. It's amazing to enjoy these rich spices and flavors, over the generic breakfast foods other diners have, where you already know what to expect when ordering the food.
I will definitely spend another evening here when I find myself coming through McMinnville.

Our favorite go to breakfast spot. Very busy on the weekends and ,honestly, most mornings. Wonderful staff and delicious food. The Benedict, hash, B&G are some of our favorites and glad they offer a half order option. Had dinner last Friday and it didn't disappoint. Bolognese was a winner. Red Velvet cake was heavenly.

FRIED CHICKEN AND BACON! Hollandaise for days. The server was friendly the food was scratch made, and they gave us fresh preserves for their sourdough.. 5 stars, loved everything except the weird and modern architecture, might have been brutalist.. have to ask my uncle. Put those concerns aside, and have good breakfast here, serving avocado toast as well.. to keep the next generation from home ownership.
