Bar is not a place to go for good customers service.!!! Shooting happing at the bar staff is poor RV spots are ok the new owners are working hard to change the place . Couple of challenges the new owners could make is new bar staff. The local county park is a nice place.

Our 5 day vacation
Nitemare
Moms 80th Birthday present as my husband and I wanted to take her on an Alaskan Cruise but the COVID 19 Pandemic made that unattainable at this time so we improvised and rented a cabin in beautiful Oregon great move right?
WRONG!!!
Upon entering our cabin at 3:30 pm everything seemed ok as described, but shortly after unloading our luggage and groceries for our 5 day retreat we started noticing things like ants, ceiling fans that were off balance and seemed like they were going to fall on us and windows wouldn’t open and some wouldn’t close. Things weren’t as described, no big deal we can work around it and continue to keep my Mama safe.
1st night hubby went to blow up the air mattress in the loft which was not a loft but rather a 3 foot high attic 😳 nope not sleeping up there. Anyway there was no air mattress to blow up, no big deal hubby and I can sleep in the reclining sofa. Nope the springs we’re poking through in very uncomfortable places OUCH! I slept in the bed with my mama and hubby slept on the not meant to sleep on sofa, no big deal.
Next morning hubby let’s office know and gets air mattress and we continue enjoying our day. After we enjoyed our home cooked dinner the lights in the bathroom stopped working as well as the back half of the cabin, hubby had the camp host check it out and he informed us that they had an electrician out a couple weeks ago hmmm!
No showers tonight and bathroom breaks in the dark, which meant no privacy for my mom because we had to leave the door open for some light from the front of the cabin 😡
But wait there’s more, went to blow up the air mattress yay 😁 so we thought, the darn thing was flat within 30 minutes 🙄 another sleepless night for hubby and myself worrying how serious the electrical issues is,
and if it was even safe to sleep there.
Packed up early that morning and left the poorly maintained and managed dump. They said that they will reimburse us for the unused 3 nights, we shall see.

The manager gets upset. Throws chairs and bad language in front of children.he has alot of outburst. Office people apologize for him. Hes that way and we are working with to get his angry under control. I really feel sorry for guest and for employees. I feel bad that he loses it. He needs help. Very sad.

This is a more than decent park but has new owners who are allowing long term people to set the terms for their over night guests. Our stay was completely ruined by such a guest who waited until we were set up to tell us we had to move. He then dictated a site and went to the office to dictate to them where we would be parking. Normally we would have told him no in as polite a way as we could but our day was rough, we had not eaten and we were exhausted so we moved. Besides who wants that kind of a neighbor? The chosen site was exceptionally tight and we scratched the motor home adding to the frustration of the day. As prior RVPark owners we understand the need for those long term people but we also understand that you need to set terms that put you and your staff in charge of the park. When we left 2 days later this "gentleman" still had 3 sites to himself. Based on our experiences both as owners and as full timers (14yrs) it won't be too long before other things start to slide and the park is taken over by guests in a negative way. We won't be returning either way this situation works out.

First and foremost, the handicapped bathrooms are number 1! LeAnn at the front desk, is a hoot and her customer service is an A+. Big H is the kindest and most welcoming Camphost I've had in 31 states. So much to mention. Restaurant and bar, arcade, laundry, fire pit. The have their own marina. The scenery and grounds are beautiful. They also accept Passport America! Don't miss it.

Great location, beautiful view and super friendly staff. Everything you need in one convenient location. Only thing I would change is the big bright light above our spot, which I guess is for security, but was too bright.

New owner fixing the place up nicely. Had a very pleasant stay with no problems at all. There is a lake, boats, fishing, bar, food, laundry, arcade, store, and everything you need right there. Very quiet. I will stay again.

This is one of the Cleanest and well kept RV Resorts I have seen. Not to mention it is right on the water and minutes from other Coastal Wonders! They are under new ownership and you can tell that they are putting any profits directly back into the business.
I highly recommend a visit there.

I would suggest camping or some kind of RV. The available cabins are in despair need of love. While they will do in a pinch I will not be returning to stay in a cabin. The coffee stand and store is nice. There's a restaurant and bar as well. Some amenities are currently unavailable due to Covid. There's a boat launch and marina available as well. Very friendly staff.

Okay place, but spendy and sites are super close together. Make sure you mention military discount before booking. Otherwise there is no chance of getting that amount refunded. Mooring charges are high too. Also, they lock the bathroom and showers after 10 PM and don't open them up until 6 am! Sucks to be staying in a tent! I think they could make the small investment and buy two pin coded door locks and solve the problem.
