I located an available cabin as a last minute spring break getaway through a major accommodation-sharing site. As my reservation was transferred to another comparable cabin within the park (not by [accommodation-sharing site]), I am not able to leave a review on [accommodation-sharing site] for what I received.

Not As Advertised/Unexpected: My family and I ended up staying at the Cedar Cabin. It was staged in the shared photos. We did not receive what was expected, based on those photos. (Ex: photos showed a table that sat 4 and two beds in the loft. It also listed a hide-a-bed, a flexible check-out time, and was claimed to be dog friendly.) After a series of phone calls on the day of our reservation, from the office, we were told they were looking for a second air mattress to put in the loft. We were asked to bring a set of bed linens for the new air mattress they would be adding to the loft, which we did. What was not mentioned, nor provided was bed linens for the first AIR mattress in the loft OR the linens for the hide-a-bed. While looking for beds with linens, we discovered that there were none on the hide-a-bed, nor was it usable (photos attached.) The one set of linens provided in the main bedroom were thread barren and the blanket on top was so old/pilly that it was scratchy and uncomfortable. A real disappointment for us, trying to connect on a family trip, was not being able to eat family dinner due to the lack of 2 chairs that were missing from the cabin. We did arrive to find an ant problem inside of the end table in the living room. Ants happen - we didn't let them bother us. Something that you can't see in the photos is that the back end on the cabin has settled, making the whole cabin lean downhill. The bathroom floor is severely water damaged. Is the toilet leaking?

Pleasantries: The staff appeared to be very kind/friendly in person and over the phone, despite errors or miscommunication between staff members; they were quick to remedy not having the key ready at check-in. We did appreciate that there was an adequate number of towels and service wear. Another huge perk was the full sized refrigerator and full kitchen. We stayed in the back corner of the park (were generally there between the hours of abt 7pm-9:30am) and found the park to be very quiet.

Over all, we would've visited again, if not for their exaggerated review. They complained about 3 things.
1."The dogs destroyed the mini blinds." I own that one of my dogs did further damage the side of an already damaged set of thin, plastic, mini blinds (they didn't have a string and couldn't be drawn up like the others. This was the only window in the main living area, near the side door that the dog could access. I took photos as I was leaving in which the mini-blinds throughout the cabin were still intact.)
2. "Lots of dog hair to clean up throughout the cabin." I have a long haired dog. This is listed as a dog friendly cabin. I did pick up any visible hair, but there was no vacuum for me to use in the cabin. We did use the broom. At this point, I'm not understanding how this is pet friendly. My long haired dog likes to sleep on the cold floor, so hair being on what little bed linens we had could not have been the issue.
3. "[accommodation-sharing site] clearly states check out time is at 11:00am and they did not observe the rules. This caused us to be late on our turn over, to our next guest." Due to the multiple discrepancies in their listing on [accommodation-sharing site], I chalk this up to a poor listing, which I could do nothing about and should not reflect on me. The verification email I received (seen in the images) states that there's a flexible check-out time. We were actively cleaning the kitchen when we received a phone call from the office to let us know we were late checking out. At which point we loaded up the family as quickly as possible and turned in the key. I informed them during this time that their listing needed updated, which they did, before giving me a poor customer review. ::EDITED DUE TO SPACE CONSTRAINTS::

Clean, bare of trees for shade, good restaurant, clean laundry, nice store, good coffee shop, level pull through spaces, we did not enjoy the bird poop from all the crows. We would however return if we were passing through

We were looking for a place to park our new camp trailer on the coast to serve as a little get-away spot. We live in Arizona and look for any reason to get out of this heat. After touring several RV camps we thankfully found Osprey Point. The staff is amazing and the park is super clean and safe. Osprey has everything you’ll ever need right on site and the location and views are spectacular. Their prices are very fair considering all that is included. Most places we looked at didn’t include WiFi or electric. Osprey Point’s rates include everything! Your only additional cost is for propane, and they have fill tanks right there at the park and the staff happily helps with filling them. The office staff at Osprey are top notch! They are very helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for a safe and family friendly place to stay, Osprey Point is the place! Oh, and the pizza & pub is super good!! Great service and amazing food!! You won’t find a better place on the Oregon coast. Trust me ... we looked!! :)
