Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina

Superb place. Stayed right on the lake and it's passport America so got a wicked price as well. They had brew fest the weekend we went which was live bands and beers! Probably the coolest place we've stayed and we've been to bloody loads of places. Boom. Go.

Have been coming to Lakeside for Fourth of July my whole life. This year we have the family staying at Osprey Point RV Resort. Great area, great view of the fireworks, clean bathroom and grounds, friendly staff! The list goes on. Definitely recommend :)

I dont usually stay at rv resorts and now I know why. I did like the size of the bathroom and shower building. The game room was cool for my son. But the big thing was we were just in a parking lot. Everyone was so close. They crammed a bunch of spots into the resort. I like to spend most of my time out of my trailer. And with everything so close I couldn't even set up camp. So if you like camping then stay away.

The Osprey Point RV Resort sits right next to the lake. It's a very open and peaceful environment. Didn't have any trouble with noises and had wonderful nature noises all around! The people who work here are wonderful, always smiling, and always willing to assist you. There's a coffee shop, laundromat, and a pub on site. Also, the wifi works quite well here! Would highly recommend. Wished it was warmer so we could have rented a pontoon to go out on the water.

I had a great experience at Osprey. Staff was very friendly. Good facilities. Giant bathroom. Stopped into the pub for karaoke night and it was hopping! Particularly enjoyed my time just hanging out by the water.

Update: Called management since I still haven’t received my certificate they promised. He said “well it looks like it worked out in our favor because since you left that terrible terrible review on our website, the owners have advised us not to honor the certificate after all.” Omg! Enough said. I’m contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint. They will most likely reply to this review once again with some excuse and not take any accountability for their actions, just like all the other negatively impacted customers who have complained.

Will never go back. Reserved the Country Manor Cabin for the weekend of August 11th for my birthday and the place was awful! Took me two weeks of messages and a final lucky call to get ahold of a manager.

No one can sleep on the pull out bed because the bars of the frame are jabbing your back, the pots and pans were all scratched up and very cheap, they just replaced the ramp out front and it had nails sticking out of it which made a hazard for us and our kids. It’s VERY old and shouldn’t be rented out anymore until they remodel it. Just an all around disgusting feel there. Customer service at the pub is terrible as well.

The lady in the office even said she hates renting this cabin out because it’s so old and gross, if EMPLOYEES are validating me, there’s something wrong here. Manager wouldn’t refund my second night (since we left early due to how uncomfortable we were), he did however offer us a half off stay in the future. I refused and told him I was not happy and to write the certificate for anyone so I could gift it. He said he had never heard of a dissatisfied customer at that cabin, interesting! Terrible experience!

Nice place to have a cold beer and great view of the lake. Food is average bar offerings. Service was slow on the day we went, but we're weren't in a hurry.

This RV park is well suited to those who are also recreating with a boat. It is directly on the lake, has boat rentals, and easy access to the water. There is also a little store and a cafe. The negative aspect is very little room between campers. No privacy.

Definitely Very nice park, staff are all friendly and eager to assist. Coffee house and restraunt are fabulous. Boat rentals, sandy beach or off the dock are some choices for the fishing. Laundry, showers and arcade also on site.

Big H is a gentleman and a real welcoming guy. We rented one of their rv spots for our tent, my wife and 2 kids all had a blast. There were baby catfish down by the docks at night.
