Peaceful location in a small town. Right on the lake. Not far from sand dunes. Friendly folks. Great price (especially with Passport America). Good facilities. Decent wifi (I clocked it at 5mps). Cable is low res and not a wide line-up of channels, but the signal was clear and it turned out my favorite channels were included.

Typically it does have afternoon and early evening wind however has good views and fishing. We had a water main break and they were here quickly and worked hard to repair it. Good Job Thanks

Very nice park with everything we needed to make our stay nice. Sites were right at the water with some set back a bit. Took a walk down to the docks where you could see birds of all kind. Store was clean, pizza place was fun and had poker machines along with pool table. Thank you for providing a nice place to stay.

stayed the weekend here with my family. They openly ignore social distancing and are having a carshow with a packed bar. I don't feel safe here and am leaving today. . Edit: It appears from previous responses that every time you recieve a poor review you get defensive and try to claim that the person that made that review was never there. So, an explanation is in order (no Google won't take down truth, nice try though). I stayed with family and went to the pub for pizza and no i won't tell you who because you seem like the type that would take it out on them, evidenced by the defensive denial you just blasted back with as a response. Maybe I should make an OSHA complaint about your resort 🤔? But I am not that immature, so I just left an honest review of your spot

I chose this RV park because the website said there is access to the dunes from the park, person I talked to on the phone assured me that we could drive to the dunes from the RV park using our ATV. We were notified on our arrival that we could not drive in the RV park or drive to the dunes on my ATV.
I would say I was deceived by false advertising. In addition to no access to the dunes from the campsite; their were additional problems; such as the 50 amp receptacle was broken and exposing the grounding prong, the electrical pedal was near the front of the trailer which would be a problem for most trailers. I was lucky to have an extra long electrical cord with me on this trip. The fire ring was turned upside down and appeared to be not usable since it was badly rusted out. The site could use some loving care some paper and other bits were scattered around my site. I noticed a sewage smell around the sewage receptacle, the ground near the sewage receptacle was slightly below ground level and be was damp. Perhaps the sewage line may be broken.

This was our first stay here and we we're in the trapper cabin (I think it is there oldest one). The area/resort was great. Well maintained, clean, good setup. The cabin was good. It could have used a few finishing touches inside but was equivalent to a basic hotel room. There is a kitchenette with stocked dishes ect. TV with some type of cable/satalite service, stand up shower, free WiFi, extra blankets, soap (bring your own shampoo), microwave, towels, coffee pot (bring your own coffee) The pizza at the pub was good too. We will likely stay again and we would like to try out one of the newer cabins.

First visit and so thrilled with our experience that I booked our next two vacations at Osprey Point!
The staff are so friendly and Chris brewed a perfect latte to start my day! Looking forward to being able to unplug without being out of reach. Thanks guys!
