Happy Sparrow Cafe

A very lovely cafe where you are greeted with great enthusiasm. My only request is more vegan food options please :)

This cafe is FANTASTIC! Excellent lattes and kolaches. Fantastic cozy, warm ambiance. The couple running this place are so incredibly welcoming and sweet. My boyfriend and I stopped in on our trip from MN before heading out to explore more of Oregon and we are SO happy we did. If we find ourselves back in Lake Oswego this will be our go-to spot.

Pulled this up in the map bc we wanted a quick snack and coffee and always like to go local. Wow! Cute little place, great coffee, yummy kolaches (you must try!) and great customer service. Super friendly!

Grabbed my (iced) Vietnamese coffee to go! It's legit, slow-dripped, and amazing! Definitely the pick-me-up I needed ☺️ All the staff are so friendly and engaging, you just feel at home. There's LOTS of outside seating and a dog water bowl if you want to sit and chill.

I just discovered this little spot and it is fantastic!!! They make the most delicious kolache buns.

If you want to know is a sweet bun filled with breakfast.

The owners are absolutely great and the energy is refreshing.

Love this place! Happy Sparrow Cafe brings a fresh/new feel to the Lake Oswego district. Their Morning Glory Kolaches are to die for! Andddd they carry the absolute best tea, Jasmine Pearl. All around great place 😍🙌🏻

I have had the pleasure of going here the last 2 days for tea for meetings and it was been a joy. The family is so warming and just a joy to be around. I personally dont drink coffee but I had their milk tea today and I cant even tell you how wonderful it was! Perfectly smooth, delicious and just what I needed after the last 2 days. Most definitely recommend!

I don't get to come out here too often. I called ahead of time to see if they were open but there was no message saying they were closed so I drove almost an hour to come out here and support only to find they are closed for the week. Very upset and sad as they are the only kolache place in all of Portland.

As a recovering Texan this place is just a little piece of home to me. Kolaches are a Texas tradition and I’m so happy to have found this place years ago when they were still on Belmont.
The owners are beautiful people (also recovering Texans) who put love into their food and into their interactions with the community.
Thanks for bringing this Texas tradition to the PNW!
