Fish and chips were of good quality. Very fresh flavor. The batter was a good texture, mostly crunchy and the fish was substantial(thick) though the batter flavor was lacking, but nothing that a bit of salt and pepper and some tartar sauce couldn't cure though. Fries were fresh cut potatoes. And the baby shrimp on the salad was very fresh as well. The salad had chopped celery, carrots and a mix of lettuce and cabbage. Very cold and crisp. We enjoyed it very much.

I have driven passed this restaurant to many times to count. I was always captivated by the "fish and chips" sign above their door when driving by through downtown Albany. My wife finally took me there a couple of years ago for my birthday and the food was absolutely delicious!! The prices were a little bit to steep in my opinion, but the quantity and quality of the food easily make up for that. Furthermore, my wife was hoping to see more of a non-seafood selection on their menu and was slightly disappointed by the lack thereof. But other than that. We had a very pleasant experience. Will definitely come back again! Thank you!!

This place is really great. I read reviews of soggy or overcooked food and small portions but my experience was totally different. My wife and I shared a large fish platter and a bowl of chowder. We were both totally full. It was so much food. The fish was also very crispy and flaky. The chops were hot and crispy. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

Food... Amazing!! Price... Reasonable. Service... To be desired. Let me say my expectations are high. But, we were ordering drinks and we only saw our waitress twice. They could have made so much more money! And my brew ski of choice... Heineken. Did they have it... No they did not. Did they display a sign for it... They sure did.

This is by far the best seafood restaurant in the area. My bff's and I come often 4 lunch. My man is going to do business in Albany, so he suggested The Depot and I gladly accepted.
Every meal we have had has been excellent, except maybe the Chunks of carrots in the salad.

Ordered the combo plate. The food wasn't very good and it was really, really greasy. Salad tasted like a bagged salad from the grocery store. Overpriced. Service was mediocre. The filthy grease dumpster in the parking lot was a huge turn off. Seats are uncomfortable, too close to the table, and you can't adjust them. My son enjoyed the music and the fish tanks were nice.

Got the combo dinner, everything tasted and looked like it was from a frozen, store bought package. The clam chowder was decent but I started to feel sick and couldn't finish it. The decor was fun at least 🤷♀️

Not great and not bad... Just ok... No happy hour. Reminded me of fish sticks... Fish seemed almost like it was previously frozen since it was very wet. The salad and fries seemed good. We also had the only IPA on the menu (in a bottle) ... Prices were on the high side. 40 bucks for two for lunch. I'd say this is more like 2.5 stars (but I always round up).

The seafood is absolutely delicious. Prices are mid-range, but not unreasonable for what you get. Attentive, friendly wait staff took good care of our family of 8. Enjoyably kitschy decor and a couple of tanks full of colorful fish.

Fantastic fish & chips and clam chowder. Good atmosphere, even better service. My go to when I am in Albany for lunch.
