Great clam chowder. But, the fries were soggy and not seasoned. Fried oysters were ok.

This place is delicious- I drive an hour just to eat here, so you know it’s gotta be good! The oysters are crispy and delicious and aren’t greasy at all and come with a delicious salad topped with bay shrimp. The clam chowder is hands down the best I’ve had and it even comes with crackers and havarti. Another fave is the crunch salad- carrots, shrimp, crispy noodles, and sunflower seeds- seriously a great combo!

Been going here for years. Actually, I worked here back in the mid ‘90’s and it hasn’t hardly changed. The food is still great and the service is very consistent. The wings are the best in town. The fish and chips are exactly as they have been for decades. I hope they keep going.

Fish and chips, clam chowder are the best. Great service. Friendly staffs.

We happened to catch the scent of this place (literally) one day we were driving by with the windows down and it smelled heavenly so we went around the block (you have to because it's one way here) and stopped inside. The fish and chips are wonderful. We usually get the six piece fish takeout once a week on the weekend. The staff is always nice and friendly (and competent). And the food is always reliable and cooked well. I notice that some people claimed their food was soggy. We have never had that problem. We don't normally eat fried anything because we're very health conscious, but we also don't like the British version of fried fish because it's usually burnt and has heavy batter on it. Depot's fish is not like that. It's light and about the fish, not the batter. We've been there about a dozen times now and the food and service are consistently excellent.

I got the small plate of fish and chips, the fish was good, the fries were greasy and almost soagy tasted more like fish than fries so I am assuming they cook the fries in the same fry as the fish, the restaurant was full and had about a 20 minute wait, was glad I called mine into to go, the you ladies working in there were very nice, my biggest complaint is the girls had on t-shirts the represented the high school they went to but they had on spandex riding shorts that were very tight and short I found that to be very inappropriate!

Huge portions here. The "small" shrimp salads have a massive amount of shrimp. The fried foods are all delicious. Everything is fresh tasting. You can find plenty of healthy options here in addition to the traditional fried fish and chips and other fried foods. We've never had to wait for a table and the staff are always friendly. The decor is of course nautical themed. It's a fun casual dining spot.
