Food fresh and fast server friendly this place has been around since the 40's very quaint, mom and pop check it out.

Great breakfast and friendly staff The interior could definitely use a refresher though!

I brought my girlfriend here she's from the West Coast someone told me that this was a nice place to eat we ordered corned beef hash and split it only to find out that it came from a can the server actually confirmed this the server was very nice but we are disappointed that our food came out of a can I could have made this at home better myself for $4

Can't honestly tell you what's going on here but it seems as if the end is near.
5 p.m. on a Saturday night and there was never more than 6 customers. There was one person running everything, and poorly at that. She could make the veal cutlet dinner but did not know how to make the veal cutlet sandwich. She couldn't make a double cheeseburger but could make a 2nd cheeseburger meal and I could throw the bun away and put the burger on top of the other if I wanted too. Um what? We placed a to go order of 2 stuffed cabbage (which were very good) before we got our bill. Those were put on a separate bill because she did not know how to add it to the original bill. ( HER words not mine). The pop with our meals was completely flat and definitely didn't taste like Pepsi products in any way.
This was truthfully one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. I'm giving this a two only because the 2 people who ordered the stuffed cabbage and chicken dumpling soup said it was as good as ever.
Minus the home fries which were a soggy mass of potatoes thrown on the flat top until they showed some color. My best advice is stay away for 3 months and see if they are still there. Maybe things will straighten out. Then again maybe not.

I went to the Whip with my husband and son for Thanksgiving this year. It was a place my parents always took us to every Thanksgiving while they were alive. I was very disappointed. The waitresses looked like they really didnât want to be there. They threw the napkins and silverware on the table and my husband had to distribute the napkins and give each person the right knife spoon and fork. There was only one other party at the time so they werenât busy. It was a small booth and they didnât bother to remove the salad and soup bowls from the table which made it even more cramped when they brought the Turkey. My son had to ask for a second cup of coffee or he wouldnât have gotten one. We then had to wait like forever for our check to arrive. We could of went anywhere we wonât make this mistake again

A great throwback. Food was A1 and affordable!

This place could really use some sprucing up. Looks like it is original back to the 50's, ha, ha. All the waitresses have been so courteous and bend over backwards to make you happy. My 5 star rating is for their stuffed cabbage dinner, their vegetable beef soup served everyday and their chicken dumpling soup served on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Just great home cooked flavor. The only thing I don't like are the machine made mashed potatoes but they would probably substitute something else for that.

Just stopped by there today. My first time going and hopefully not my last. The waitress is very sweet and nice with the auroa feeling very homey and well decorated. She runs her restaurant very well and orderly. Food was absolutely delicious and came on time. I hope others will find the joy in coming to this place. Happy Holidays, bless the restaurant Owner and her family.
