The place smells and they dont know how to season anything. Dont even bother. Drinks taste like they didnt clean the machine good enough and have chemicals still. Even the server said the machine sat for months without being maintained.

Just had dinner at the Whip. Got their perch and shrimp. Coleslaw was tasty, mashed potatoes are instant and not very tasty, perch was foul tasting, and shrimp was spoiled. Complained that the fish was undercooked as did the gentleman sitting at the table next to me. They took our food back to the kitchen and refried it. Never had that happen before. The shrimp was unlike any shrimp I've ever eaten before. Owner refused to remove meal from our check - only took off $2.00. Big deal! Cocktail sauce had been frozen and was cold and congealed when served with the meal. Waitress told me where owner was sitting and I couldn't resist voicing my frustration. She didn't care and felt that the food was perfectly fine. And, this is NOT a mom and pop owned diner although it probably was at one time. It is now owned by a very rude Indian woman and her Indian husband was the cook. What is acceptable for them to eat is very different from what their customers expect. The frozen cocktail sauce tells me they don't throw away food and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they would reheat and serve my uneaten fish pieces to another customer. All I can say is beware of this place because in addition to the filthy surroundings, you are taking your health into your own hands if you eat in this place. Oh, I wonder what the kitchen looks like if the dining room is so dirty. Maybe the health department should pay them a visit.

I used to go here for breakfast, it was OK. But...not the best cheap breakfast I ever had. So, I decided to try them for dinner. I ordered the spaghetti and meatball meal and my mom ordered liver and onions. Comes with salad and rolls. We get the salad and its literally a bowl of soggy lettuce with a slice of cucumber and their "Italian" dressing poured on top. Sorry, nope, just oil. Yuck. The rolls were stale and cold with hard butter. Yippee! With that being said....YAY cant wait for the meal! (Eye roll). The liver was basically a hockey puck with burnt onions on top. The spaghetti was mushy with what looked like BBQ sauce on top. Tasted like tomato paste and curry. Absolutely horrible. I took one bite of the meatball, which had no flavor, and sent it back. My mom asked for a box to take it home, so she could fix it into something edible. I didn't eat. The bill comes and they didn't remove the meal that had 1 bite removed. Im sorry but what restaurant doesn't remove a meal the patron doesnt eat!!! We complain to the waitress and she gets the owner. The owner tells us its not her fault we dont like it (what!??) and says she will give us a couple dollars off. We say no that's unacceptable. It wasnt eaten. She proceeds to RAISE HER VOICE at us saying the same thing, I have to leave before I jump over the dirty counter at this ludacris person. My mother had to handle it from that point. The angry, rude woman took $4 off a $18 dollar bill. Needless to say, we will NEVER be back!!! What a shame for such a long time restaurant in Parma.

I just came back from the whip having their Friday fish fry. They have fantastic coleslaw but the serving of fish I got today was mostly breading. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

HAPPY DAYS - One of the best family diners around...very "old " school....nothing "modern" about this place. If you enjoy comfort "diner" food, here's a quiet, perfect little gem of a place! Different specials offered daily! My personal favorite is their "krinkle" french fries....with anything or alone....always cooked perfectly, golden crispy outside & creamy white on the inside...YUM! Their fried fish specials come served with fries and homemade creamy coleslaw. Servings are generous and the staff are always courteous & helpful.
Best Value: "The Dutchess" Platter, a great cooked-to-order hamburger on a fresh bakery bun and served with a slab of sweet onion & tomato & garnished with dill pickles, along with a side order of their awesome krinkle fries and your choice of soup de jour or side salad all for $7.99

Me and my father was looking for a good place to eat and we decided to try the wipe I got the Beef Storginoff and my father ordered Chicken Papakas THe Chicken was drowning in sour cream and the Beef Storginoff was so tough I couldn't even thew the meat....I told the waitress about it she said I will tell the cook but did nothing about it? Didn't even ask if I wanted anything else to replace the trouble food that we recieved even left a 5.00$ tip because I thought that it wasn't her fault?

The food at The Whip is as good now as I remember it being when my family would eat there sixty years ago.
