Hadn't been there in over a decade. Place looked the same except the carpeting was gone. Wife ordered pancakes, no pancakes. I ordered large tomato juice, only one small left. Only Sweet n Low for sugar substitute 😞. Saw waitress picking the bacon up with her fingers and putting on the plates. Desperately needs some management.

Best prices around. Even cheaper specials. Specials are the way to go.
Sausage gravy was microwaved in a cup. Cup so hot i nearly burnt my hand as i dropped the whole ceramic cup on the table. Food was hot for sure. Closed early thar day so we had to eat fast
Next sunday we went was great again. except NO SAUSAGE GRAVY! [email protected].
SO disapointed. But the delicious full plate pancakes made up for it

Neat little restaurant. Takes me back to when I was kid growing up in LA. They need sweet tea though.

Waitress was extremely nice and attentive. It's a nice little hide away that's kinda like stepping back in time.

Was not impressed with the food. We simply did not say anything we paid, left a 20 percent tip as we felt bad for the waitress since the place was empty and then went to another restaurant to eat. The portion sizes here were not for an adult.

I saw the patty melt on the menu and usually I get the best patty melts from little mom and pop places like this. The burger patty was the size of a McDonald's single cheese burger. The fries, all 14 were good. Vegetable beef soup had no beef in the soup, lots of vegetables. I gave it two stars really because of the waitress. I heard about them serving a great breakfast but I don't think we're going back. Best I can say is give it a try and see what you think.

I can in seated myself neither of the two women acknowledged that I had came in. The one walked right past me to a table of people that came in after me and instantly served them coffee. Then walked around and refilled everyone else's drink. When she did notice that I was there said someone will be with you in a minute. I felt uncomfortable by then so I just walked out.

Sorry to say that the past couple experiences have not been good. The food lacks flavor, the “Pepsi” tastes bad, and they’re often out if basic items on the menu.

Oh my gosh!!! Haven’t been here in years as I no longer live in the area. It was great! The place hasn’t change much, which for me was great as I love charming nostalgic places. The food was very good!! My brother had a BLT, friend had a Western Omelette, and I had a Patty Melt sandwich. Fantastic! Very modest prices, service was great ( Jona was very sweet ) and we had lovely memories sitting there. I had gone there since high school, and my friend’s father’s memories go back even further! I will make this a must visit every time I come back to my hometown.

Breakfast is good, chicken dumpling soup very good. Poor place needs a face lift. Also a good cleaning. I won't visit there anymore until its clean. And they have 2 women running around its so sad.

Your classic family-owned, run down diner that serves cheap, delicious breakfast! I love the small diner feel and the homemade food. I have never been for dinner, but the breakfast is good and cheap.

I was excited to try this place, but was a bit disappointed. The food was just okay. A bit cold. But the real bummer was odd smell of the place kind of took away from the whole experience.
