The Mulberry House

Went for brunch. The Bloody Mary was good. Food was cold and average at best. I ordered a burrito. When the waitress brought it she said there are no peppers on it but I’ll bring you some. Why did they not take care of it before it was served? My girlfriend ordered eggs Benedict, one egg was runny the other was hard. Really expect better at the prices. Second time here neither experience was good.

My boyfriend and I visited for dinner last week and had a wonderful experience. The wait staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was very nice. Our server Lexi was very knowledgable of the menu and was able to answer any and all questions that we had. She was able to recommend the Miss Mulberry to me, and for anyone looking for a cocktail on the sweeter side, you should definitely take her recommendation. We also asked about entrees and she recommended me the little ear pasta which worked well for me as I love pasta. I ended up ordering it with sausage and chicken and it was wonderful. My boyfriend ended up ordering the ribeye. The steak and mashed potatoes were very good. The overall experience and service was wonderful and we will definitely be returning again!

Had such a great lunch with some of my girlfriend and our server Emily is the best! We have had Emily a few times before and every time we come here she never disappoints! I highly recommend coming here not only for the view of Washington but the food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Our waitress was not knowledgeable of any of the entrees, including how many ounces in the steak as well as not informing me that the fish I ordered did not come fileted with head attached. If I had known how the dish was prepared I never would have ordered it. It was super boney, almost unedible. The meals were way overpriced for what we were given. We also waited 10 minutes when we arrived before we were ever acknowledged or taken to a table. This was one of the worst experiences I've had dining out in a while.

Great overall experience. Had the seafood gumbo to start with which was abundant with fresh shrimp, calamari, mussels and probably more. Super flavorful and served with toasted bread. Loved the ribeye. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was tender enough to use my butter knife. Wonderful and attentive service by our waitress. Emily. Got a slice of chocolate cake to go on our way out!

I went here for the first time last week. I was stunned at the overall energy of this establishment. My waiter a girl with an xo and a heart under her eyes I wanna say Mazie and she left me waiting on nothing and made sure I was cared for at every turn. I would highly recommend. The Mulberry House really makes you feel like a vip from the exceptional service to the china and the decor. You can tell the food is made with the chefs full heart and they really care about your experience.

Another great visit to The Mulberry House, brunch was hot and delicious with plenty of choices for our party of four. Service was prompt but not intrusive and the front of house guys took good care of us while the kitchen supplied some well presented and tasty dishes. I think Michelle was the name of the manager and she dropped by to ensure we were all happy. This place really is a gem in the new and revitalizing downtown area of Little Washington. We will be back especially, when the roof top is in use!

Had the Chicken Tikka Masala that was out of this world. Just the right amount of spice. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by a woman who I didn’t catch her name but had purple hair. My waitress was a younger girl with xo and heart under her eyes who took phenomenal care of me. My water glass was never empty and I was left wanting nothing. I even tried the crème brûlée after her suggestion and I’m glad I did. She was knowledgeable about the menu and helped me choose something I would enjoy. Would definitely recommend all the staff was very personable and helpful. I felt like a regular.

We stopped in for morning coffee and were treated to a wonderful surprise! Bailey was a great barista and hostess. The atmosphere and architecture are worth soaking up along with a great coffee.

We stopped by early afternoon for drinks while on a few days off. The staff made us feel right at home - enough that we came back that evening for dinner! I highly recommend the Orecchiette 'Little Ear' pasta topped with filet mignon. It was an outstanding dish! When we were leaving we talked to Mohamed, one of the owners. He seemed very gracious and appreciative of his customers! We will be back!
