Updated Review: since their opening in July of 2021, the Mulberry House has become a staple for my family and I. This sophisticated but down to earth establishment offers something for everyone. From their breakfast and coffee bar, to their lunch and dinner menu options and tastefully crafted spirits everything is delicious. Now, with all the challenges that come with an ambitious new business there are small kinks that need to be worked out. Since some of the staff Is being trained on the job, showing qualities such as patience and understanding will make your experience here worthwhile. However, the heart of Mulberry House makes up for any time you may have to wait for your order during those rush moments. The rooftop view is spectacular and perhaps the only elevated spot in downtown Washington where you can relax with a drink in hand watching the sun go down.

My go-to menu items are:
Breakfast- Large Iced Black Coffee & Peanut Butter Bacon Cookie
Lunch- The Fried Chicken Sandwich with Yukon Potatoes
Cocktails- The Cucumber Gimlet, The Last Word, Bees Knees

I love this new place in Washington!!! Great food! Amazing flavors!!! Good prices! And perfect location!! The Rooftop it’s OPEN!!! BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!! It’s just perfect!!

We had an excellent Sunday brunch of eggs Benedict and Falafel wrap. Service was very good. I also host an open mic on the rooftop, the best view in Washington, NC, the 4th Wednesday of every month.
I highly recommend this establishment.

A great local brewery downtown Washington. Great list of beers and also wine. They have a separate dinning room, bar area and outside patio area to enjoy the view, drink and dinner. I had the lightly smoked salmon.
Perfect place to bring a date or relax with friends.

Everyone here is so nice, at first I was intimated by how fancy it was inside, and my partner and i were extremely underdressed but the the staff was extremely kind and ready to help if i had any questions about the food/ingredients i had. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the vegetarian chicken sandwich with potatoes and a salad; and as a vegetarian it's so hard to find restaurants with vegetarian/vegan options but they did! I recommend everyone to eat here.

Great food, top of the line ingredients, and the best staff in downtown Washington. I love working there.
