The Mulberry is a wonderful addition to the waterfront! Great food, coffee, service, management, and owners. If you happen to meet them you can easily see the vision they have for the mulberry and little washington.
They have seasonal menus and do specials frequently. Me and my husband just had the Valentines menu and it was delicious. I only got a picture of the first and last course, but beautiful presentation on everything. I definitely recommend stopping by the Mulberry.

This is my favorite place in Washington (or even the surrounding area) this restaurant offers so many things. A coffee shop, a sit down restaurant down below, a casual eating experience on the rooftop (I recommend going toward sunset) that also has a bar. Delicious food, amazing coffee, ambiance is on point. Overall great experience and vibe.
There are so many amazing experiences packed into one place on the beautiful waterfront in Washington. The owner puts forth ample effort and takes pride in his establishment and it shows. It was nice speaking with him and having him personally come to the table to ask how our experience was. Definitely my favorite place to come in little Washington and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

The Mulberry House Brewery was excellent both times I’ve visited. Their chicken sandwich and potatoes were awesome on my first occasion. I met the owners who were kind and thoughtful about our experience as well. The second and most recent time I went with a large party and we had excellent service by multiple team members including our main server DK who was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the ribs, the tuna tartar, the table olives, and my entree the strip steak was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Their drink menu is expansive and thoughtful, from a large beer selection, to craft cocktails, and a great wine selection their bartenders take the drinks seriously! I high recommend the Mulberry House Brewery for all types of occasions, it also has a great ambience.

GREAT evening! A must go spot if you’re anywhere around Washington, NC. First, it’s a superb welcome to the INNER BANKS of NC, a jewel not as recognized as the the Outer Banks but WILL BE! I had the Guinea Hen Stew which was incredibly satisfying!! Our server had excellent wine pairing recommendations and tasting opportunities, super knowledgeable. I’m excited for the coming attractions. We will stay at the boutique hotel when it’s finished and are returning for brunch next week. There’s a rooftop bar & seasonal sushi bar with folding doors that open up completely to a picturesque open air patio overlooking the water. You cannot beat the East Carolina sunset from this spot! With the food and service matching this ambience, you’re just transported and totally impressed in our little “neck of the woods”. Must go! I was so in the moment I didn’t take enough photos. Go see for yourself! 😉

We came here with a fairly large group last night, most of our first time, and it was great. The drinks are really well made, menu had something for everyone, the space is beautiful, and the owners (who were nice enough to give us a rooftop tour) could not have been kinder and more excited about their restaurant. Service was great too. Go!
Tasty Yet Healthy
Oh my, so happy we made this stop for dinner. It was absolutely amazing! We sat on the patio, which had very nice lighting. Started with the Miss Mulberry. Such a beautiful drink, with a pink lemonade taste. We went with the Shrimp and Crab dip for appetizers. Both were superb. Crab dip was full of crab meat and served with delicious, soft, warm pita chips.
For the main course I couldn’t choose between the Seafood Gumbo or Clam Chowder, so I went with both. The garlic bread served with it could have been a meal by itself, it was so good. The Gumbo won my vote over the chowder, but both were delicious.
Our waitress Kylie (hope I got name right) was excellent! She kept the water full and the drinks coming. Answered all our questions on the menu. And made sure we had everything we needed. Even offering to bring our dog water. (Dogs are welcome on the patio.)
Also loved the manager coming around talking to guest. Even saw him helping to clear tables. Speaks volumes on how they work together.
Next time I will have to try the desert, they all looked very yummy!!

My husband and I love coming here whether it’s a quick drink and appetizers or going out to dinner. When we were planning our wedding this was one of the first places we thought of and we are so glad we chose it. Everyone said it was one of the most fun weddings they had been to and the drinks and food were amazing! We were beyond happy with everything! They made planning super easy and accommodated all of our requests! The photos I added don’t do the ambiance justice! The lighting was beautiful!

The waitress was so polite and she help out when I didn't know what to get. The atmosphere is so calming and gives you a rich vibe (even though the food is a decent price) the food was amazing. Definitely worth the price. I recommend anyone to go there.

Great dining experience.
Pleasent interior atmosphere. Didn't get a chance to experience outdoor seating due to weather, but hear it is worthwhile.
Amazing, friendly, attentive service. Glass was never empty. Thank you Abdalla.
Hummas and Pimento with Pita was wonderful. Main courses were wonderful with great presentation. Did not have enough room for dessert but will be back to sample.
Definitely recommend and return.
