The Coffee Shop

The food was horrible my wife got extremely sick after eating at the coffee shop my daughter got extremely sick also this is not right to bring raw food out and have hair in are food the biscuits and gravy was cold as ice when brought to us we will never come back to the coffee shop hair in are food and bugs running across the floor the waitress we had was very rude she snatched our menus out of our hands and I will not go back there and I do not recommend this place to eat at its not child friendly place

Had breakfast country fried steak and gravy grits and bacon yes the staff is always friendly here but they are pre-cooking the bacon then deep frying it to order(nasty) The country fried steak was just OK and the gravy I would not recommend hate giving this place a bad review last year I loved it let’s just say they could probably use some newer equipment in the kitchen area behind the counter

Came here by a recommendation from one of my friends for a cheap breakfast, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The waitress was so rude, when I wasn’t even speaking to her she snapped at me. I was asking my friend if she had eaten eggs for breakfast earlier that morning and the waitress rudely interrupted and said “Yea we’re not having eggs. Breakfast was over at 11. Waffle House is down the street.” In such a ugly manner. She pulled my menu out of my hand and flipped it to lunch. This was my first time going here I had no clue that they stopped serving breakfast at 11. But I wasn’t even speaking to her to begin with! If I could rate 0 stars I would. Y’all need to get a better staff. I think this was the worst first experience I ever had. Will not be coming back.

I stopped in this morning to grab some toast and just experience the shop. I see it every day and finally wanted to check it out after living here for almost two years. Such a friendly atmosphere and has an old diner feel to it. Thank you for breakfast!

Wow!!! This place blew me away! Very welcoming atmosphere, great menu, and amazing staff! My sister and I were so happy to find this place on our visit to NC. You could tell that there were locals enjoying the food as well. Loved how the staff recognized returning customers. They made it feel very cozy! I was so pleased to be able to order something that was within my plant based diet and they gave me awesome portions as well. Loved the breakfast food, dining experience, and environment...would love to return soon!!! Thank you so much!

Thank God we came here! Best chicken and dumplings I ever had! Cutest little family owned place. The staff were friendly and gracious. Our waitress was the granddaughter of the owner. She was friendly and attentive! I won't ever forget those dumplings!

Decent food, a little too pricey for a normal 2 eggs and a meat.

This place is a small, hole in the wall kind of place but it is awesome! It really is great food at great prices with great service. Every staff member was polite and helpful. I like the old diner style decor there also. It was an awesome experience to eat here

Good meal, basic diner food.

Great food for a decent price. My husband and I came in at a very busy time and had to wait for a table, but the service was fast once we got seated and the food was good. My coffee cup was filled kept full. The food was exactly like I ordered. Left the waitress a good tip. Would eat there again.
