The atmosphere here is incredible. The baristas were very welcoming and friendly. I loved all the plants and the music. Their coffee is delicious. I got a lavender oat milk latte and my husband got the golden latte (turmeric based and has no espresso in it). We enjoyed both the drinks. Prices are fair. They have non dairy options. We didn’t have any of there food items but they do have a simple food menu to order from.

Hands down, the classico turkey sandwich is the BEST thing on the menu. Delicious!! Honestly could probably eat two of these in one sitting. That and their muffins are also wonderful! Really hoping they make the cinnamon banana muffin a staple because it was divine. As for the coffee, it's hit or miss depending on who you're barista is, but I've had some wonderful lattes here!

I called in to order, was told they don't take orders over the phone to use the online ordering. I decided to just order in person. I went in and ordered two things for breakfast that they had on their website that I was going to order over the phone.

The guy working the counter seemed confused by my order of toast with jam and a smoothie. The menu on their website is not their menu? After a long convoluted process of putting the order in the guy tells me they only have orange marmalade and included is a picture of the EXACT amount of marmalade I paid $1.50 for. Honestly like smaller than a medicine cups worth. Covered maybe one slice of their 2 smallish sourdough toast slices they gave me if I really stretched it.

Then he tells me no pineapple for the smoothie and instead of offering money back or an alternative, he told me to find another ingredient on their menu. It's also weird they present themselves as being a very independent local place with fresh ingredients, but for my smoothie pulled out a bag of frozen Dole brand berries. Also there was like 4 customers in a place that can't take phone orders? This whole experience cost me $15.

No clue how they have such high star rating, but y'all need to demand more out of your eating establishments if you think this is acceptable.

We were only in Sylva for two days and we came to white moon twice lol. Their iced lavender latte with oat milk and the fruitcake were amazing. Really sweet baristas and a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy the view and good coffee. Thank you, white moon!! :)

This place has been my second home while being a student at western carolina university the past four years. I’ve seen this place grow from the two owners don & cecelia to a full staff of cool, creative, and friendly people. Being a regular customer all these years, I’ve become close friends with the owners and staff and know everything they serve is top notch and sourced from the best places. The shop has always felt warm and inviting and bursting with creativity and innovation. If ya get a chance to go, try out the avocado smash with a fried egg, the brass monkey or a simple iced latte. Can’t rave about the spot enough. Such a gem in Sylva. ✨

Wonderful little coffee shop I visited while waiting for the used bookstore to open. I had an oat milk latte and relaxed there for about an hour.

The coffee was outstanding! Highly recommend!

Coconut Spice Latte is delicious. This spot is so very cute. The bathroom is cuter than any bathroom has a right to look. Staff was super friendly. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Adorable coffee / brunch spot on the way to Asheville in a cute little town!
Came back for a weekend trip and wow - the breakfast Sammy is bomb (harissa and yummy eggs). Perfect place to get some work done too!

I was craving a hot chocolate and bagel, and I figured that a coffee shop would have both! I came after visiting the farmer’s market downtown, and I was able to order everything I wanted. The people working were very welcoming and kind. I ordered a hot chocolate made with cashew milk, as well as an everything bagel with a scallion and herb cream cheese. My boyfriend ordered a matcha latte. The hot chocolate was honestly pretty bland, but I think it is because I got it with cashew milk. The bagel was amazing, but the cream cheese was overpowered by the flavor of dill. The matcha latte was delicious! I would definitely come again, and order more from the menu!

Continued changes at white moon with another new menus revamp. They've added back some old favorites, the lox bagel and the moon bowl. Adding a build your own sandwich as well! I hope this new menus sticks around. (4/12/22)

The recent menu overhaul immediately makes me miss the old dishes. There use to be a breakfast burrito that was absolutely amazing.
Though the biggest and most desirable meal was the salmon bagel that was on the menu. It was delicious, so much that I had tried replicating it at home. The switch to the salmon toast with cucumber yogurt, curried carrots on sourdough toast most does not even compare.
Also the wifi that was once offered. Coffee shop without wifi just doesn't make sense.

It's still a very lovely and relaxing place, just a weird switch to things that seemed to be working.
