My cousin introduced me to this beautiful little coffee nook when I visited the town of Sylva this past Fall.
I loooved the coffee, as well as the food, at this incredibly intimate little shop. It was all amazing. No! It was better than amazing. I feel as though I became somewhat enlightened while experiencing what White Moon Coffee Shop had to offer.
One morning--an experience I feel I shall remember for the rest of my life--we sat by the front entrance just drinking coffee, talking, and experiencing the rain splash down as folks came and went in an effort to fuel the start of their workday. It was so peaceful. The shop's lighting was soft and warm, the delicious aroma of coffee filled the air, and the soothing pitter-patter of rain echoed off of the walls...it was the kind of morning you read about but rarely experience in your life.
Thank you White Moon Coffee Shop for a delicious cup of coffee and an even more delicious memory.

We stumbled upon this quaint little coffee shop on our way out of town just looking for a quick cup of coffee to go. However when we walked inside and saw how comfortable the place was, we decided to sit and stay. We even ended up sharing breakfast. My husband got a black coffee and I got the campfire latte which was unique but excellent! We shared a bagel with salmon, picked onions, dill, capers, and cream cheese. All great!! We’ll definitely come back when in Sylva ☺️

Cute cafe but unfortunately the customer service was poor as I watched the barista talk very harshly to other guests that didn’t have a mask with them. When she was confronted about this she was defensive rather than apologetic. It created an angry atmosphere to an otherwise very special coffee shop.

If I could leave a review with no stars I would. When going in to order a coffee both baristas present immediately raised their voice demanding that I put on a mask. When I told them I did not have one they immediately said they could not serve me or my husband, that it was their policy and that I had to put on a mask or leave the shop. I fully understand requiring a mask for any store but if you’re going to do this you should also provide masks for those that do not carry one since we are no longer under a mask mandate. There was a small paper sign posted but the door had been propped open so it was not visible when walking into the cafe. They lost my groups business as well as other potential costumers who were also aggressively asked to put a mask on or leave. If the staff had been nicer the situation would’ve been much different, unfortunately this was not the case.

Great coffee, outstanding food and nice people. There are a few outdoor spots if you want to avoid indoor seating. Apparently their new shirts are so cool out of state people are looking to buy them. Must stop if your in Sylva looking for a coffee.

Coffee is delicious, OG egg sammy is the BEST! Wonderful staff. We aren't local, and came in without a mask, the sweet girl informed us we needed one to be served. No problem! It was so nice that they cared!!!!

People who work here will get mad if you happen to miss the sign that says no mask no service. They will then refuse to offer you a mask and will tell you to leave even if you have been vaccinated. The employees will get aggressive and have no patience when asking for a mask. I understand enforcing masks, but like any other business that enforces mask, they should have some available for customers who are vaccinated and don’t tend to carry one around. Completely disappointing experience and terrible way to treat customers.I would like to clarify that I am 100% not against mask, but I am against rude people.

Definitely the best coffee in town, cold brew was awesome! Avocado toast was on point, as was the breakfast salad. Very comfortable atmosphere and great service. Run, don't walk, get some coffee, get your life.
