White Moon Cafe & Dark Moon Cocktail Bar

Great atmosphere, good management, and simple! Sometimes you need a place that focuses on customer relations, a short elegant menu, and great coffee and drinks. Don and Cecelia are great hosts and they've done wonders to the space which used to be the town's first craft brewery. The cheese/meat platters and snacks are well presented and excellent tasting, the drink selections are well chosen and concise, and the personalities are hip and friendly. Looking forward to spending more time at this chill spot.

Extemeley rude barista aggressively demanded that I put a mask on. When I said I didn’t have one I was kicked out of the cafe being barked at “no mask no service.” I was completely caught off guard since this isn’t a mandate anymore And I didn’t see any signage about a mask for the cafe. Once outside I realized the door with the sign about a mask was propped open, therefore from the outside of the cafe you can’t see the sign. I grabbed my mask from the car and returned to let the barista know the sign is not visable. I was told the AC was broken so the door needed to be propped open. I suggested moving the sign to a visible window. I think that if a place is going to enforce a mask policy with such vigor then they should offer disposable masks. They lost about $20 of service from myself. Had I been treated more kindly I would have gladly gone to my car to get my mask and return but since I felt so attacked I didn’t want to give the coffee shop my business. I have never taken the time to write a poor review for a restaurant or coffee shop but my experience was so poor here I had to. The coffee shop itself is adorable but what a shame the service had to ruin its potential

White Moon has the best coffee in town and their food is absolutely delicious. I love being able to order online and pick it up, but the atmosphere inside is worth sitting and enjoying.

Beautiful place, iced coffee is great - chai was a little bitter, but I'd try it again. The staff is so sweet, and the atmosphere is so "light and airy!" Parking is kind of difficult to get out of but that's really the only downside to this coffee shop!

The staff (or owner?) was very patient with their customers and extremely friendly, wiling to listen to anyone and everyone. Coffee was okay, but I'm really picky. The cinnamon bun was very delicious tho! Five stars because of how polite the staff was.

This place is the gold standard. I’ve covered the food and drink scene all over Asheville & Atlanta and this is the best coffee shop I’ve ever experienced. So glad to have them here in Sylva. The owners are really genuine people who are extremely passionate about what they do, and it shows in the product. White Moon checks all the boxes and more.... they are fast, prices are great, food & drink is fantastic, and the service is always on point. Do yourself a favor and go experience this wonderful place! It’s a rarity!

Makes me smile when professionals move to our area from afar and are bleeding cultural diversity and then express that in their new business. We benefit from that as a town and it's impossible to not embrace with the same enthusiasm in which they practice their art and craft. In this case, proper world class coffee preparation in a warm welcoming space, with sincere service and experts in their field. I love it when the bar gets raised especially in the f&b industry. Bravo Cecelia and Don. Bravo!

We happened upon this place by accident on the last day of our vacation, and it was the best breakfast we’d had the entire trip! Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, muffins and scones. Beautiful atmosphere with great music and plants everywhere. We loved it!

The environment is teaming with life, literally. If you enjoy a vibrant environment mixed with plants of every kind and amazing coffee accompanied by wonderful service this is your place. Go check them out and ask about their seasonal drinks. I will be going back for a coffee to sit down with my laptop and study. 100% worth it.

Cute shop. Good smoothies, but if you're going to be more expensive than Tropical Smoothie Cafe, then the smoothie should at least be as large as theirs.
