You cannot beat the price for the amount of food you get with this location. The waitress was very friendly and kept a check on us during our whole visit.
The one thing I missed with an establishment like this was butter on the toast.

Me and my wife just ate there after the lady at our hotel recommended it for good home cooked home town food and it was great both food and service. Thanks and keep up the good work. 😅

What a great place for breakfast! We found this gem on our vacation from Florida. The service and food was amazing! The atmosphere and the history of the place is really neat! The downtown area of Sylva was also really amazing! We recommend The Coffee Shop to everyone.

We sat down and ordered our lunch. Then heard the staff talking about how that service dog was not allowed in there. They should have told us at the door, not have the staff talk behind our back about how nasty service dogs are

I'm sorry, I probably won't return. First trip there was not great. Second trip was not better. I wish them well. I hope they find that "tradition" will not keep them in business for ever. It would not take much to make this place great again.

Absolutely lovely!! We ate here two years ago and everything is still the same great hospitality and food. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. They have the best unsweetened iced tea around!!

This little coffee shop makes most of its money towing people in their parking lot. Watched it happen over and over across the street. Basically they have one boot and they put it on vehicles, the owner comes out and says, “if you pay me $50 I’ll take the boot off otherwise the tow company will come and tow you. Shady shady. I went into the restaurant and asked about it and the server their said, I’m only a waitress, I can’t control what they do. Now, I never parked there so I’m not a victim but if you ever look at their parking lot, it’s huge and always empty. I imagine the owner makes a good $300 a day off of boots.

This place is the best! Great food... super friendly and efficient service. Great selection... great atmosphere. Been around a long time and still busy every day they are open. This place is definitely a local favorite!

Waited forever to a call in order. Was forgotten, they don't have it together at all. They where to busy chatting. I was sick and could have done better than the staff. I don't recommend them at all. They need to change their system.

It's been several years since we visited. Was our favorite place in college to get homemade pie especially chocolate. We missed out on the chocolate pie this time but the coconut pie was light and heavenly.
